FLYING Plataforma Cultural

Abstract

Esta dissertação consiste no desenvolvimento de uma plataforma cultural online para o projeto Flying, este consta na promoção de músicos de jazz emergentes. Pretende-se com esta dissertação realizar uma investigação e contextualização do domínio das áreas em que esta dissertação se insere: Jazz, Design Gráfico, Design de Interface, Design de Interação e Web Design. A obtenção dos conhecimentos teóricos será indispensável para o consequente desenvolvimento prático. Esta proposta consta na transposição da informação e estrutura do projeto Flying para uma plataforma web que corresponda aos objetivos do mesmo. Constitui, por isso, um exercício de planeamento, desenho e implementação da plataforma. A dissertação está faseada em diferentes etapas que promovem um estudo refletido e que permitam a iteração com vista ao aprimoramento das conseguintes, neste sentido os testes de usabilidade têm um papel fulcral. A exploração a nível visual tendo em conta o tema, mas também a usabilidade, é um ponto fundamental, que também se tornou num desafio. Perceber como o design gráfico foi influenciado pelo jazz, e em que medida isso se pode tornar um objeto de estudo no design da plataforma.

This dissertation consists in the development of an online cultural platform for the Flying project, it consist in promoting emerging jazz musicians. It’s intended with this dissertation to conduct a research and contextualization of the areas in which this dissertation is part of: Jazz, Graphic Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design and Web Design. Obtaining theoretical knowledge will be indispensable for the subsequent practical development. This proposal is included in the transposition of information and structure of the Flying project to a web platform that meets its objectives. It is, therefore, an exercise of planning, draft and implementation of platform. The dissertation is phased at different stages that promote a reflected study and that allow iterating with the intention of improving the consequent, in this sense the usability tests have a key role. Exploring at a visual level taking into account the subject, but also the usability, is a key point, which also became a challenge. Understanding how graphic design has been influenced by jazz, and to what extent it can become an object of study in the design of the platform.
