Os Aproveitamentos Hidroeléctricos em Angola. Sua Importância.

Abstract

A guerra civil que se abateu sobre o País (1975-2002) teve como prejuízo a degradação dos serviços de produção, transporte e distribuição de energia eléctrica. Nas zonas rurais as taxas de cobertura da rede eléctrica são inferiores e em alguns casos inexistentes, devido ao difícil acesso, comparando com as áreas urbanas. Com o alcance da paz foram criados diversos programas e planos que visam na melhoria do sector eléctrico angolano. Angola é um País que possui uma matriz energética bastante diversificada, ressalta aqui o vasto potencial hídrico que possui, conta com 47 bacias hidrográficas, mas verifica-se que o País explora somente 5% do poder de suas águas. A electrificação de zonas rurais, irá permitir a diminuição de migração da população para as áreas urbanas, por potenciar o aumento da agricultura, acesso a educação, saúde e bens fundamentais de sobrevivência, como a água tratada. O Governo angolano é imprescindível em primeiro lugar, desenvolver uma forte campanha de sensibilização e cultura energética e ambiental, em todos os círculos e níveis de ensino e na população em geral. Começar, por aplicar e explorar aquelas tecnologias mais disponíveis, conhecidas e tecnologicamente bem testadas como: hidroeléctricas, eólica, solar e mini hídricas, não podem ser descartadas em regiões rurais isoladas. O objectivo desta dissertação é o de evidenciar as grandes questões energéticas que se colocam à sociedade e a economia angolana no que toca a produção, transporte e distribuição, apresentando as energias renováveis, como uma escolha aceitável, principalmente a de vertente hídrica, contribuindo fundamental para a prossecução dos objectivos globais definidos na Estratégia Angola 2025.

The civil war that befell the Country (1975-2002) resulted in prejudice to the degradation of the services of production, transmission and distribution of electricity. In rural areas the electrical network coverage rates are lower and in some cases non-existent, due to difficult access, compared to urban areas. With the achievement of peace were created several programs and plans aimed at the improvement of the electric sector in Angola. Angola is a Country which has a diversified energy matrix, praising the vast water potential which has, has 47 hydrographic basins, but it turns out that the Country explores only 5% of the power of its waters. The electrification of rural areas, will allow the reduction of migration of population to urban areas, by promoting increased agriculture, access to education, health and basic goods to survive as the treated water. The Angolan Government is essential first of all; develop a strong awareness campaign and energy and environmental culture, in all circles and levels of education and in the general population. Start by applying and explore those technologies more affordable, known and technologically well tested as: hydro, wind, solar and mini hydro, cannot be discarded in isolated rural regions. The aim of this dissertation is to highlight the major energy issues facing society and the Angolan economy in terms of production, transmission and distribution, renewable energies, showing how a choice acceptable, especially of water shed, contributing essential for the achievement of the overall objectives defined in Angola Strategy 2025.
