Horizontes Distintos: a promoção de uma intervenção de proximidade pela Comissão Social da Freguesia de Pombal

Abstract

Este relatório resulta de um período de estágio curricular que decorreu durante nove meses na Comissão Social da Freguesia de Pombal (CSFP), no âmbito do ciclo de estudos conducente ao grau de Mestre em Educação e Formação de Adultos e Intervenção Comunitária, da Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra. A CSFP é constituída por diversas entidades que intervêm no território da freguesia de Pombal, em sede de uma resposta de intervenção social de proximidade com a finalidade de promover o desenvolvimento local e a qualidade de vida da comunidade, numa perspetiva de otimização dos meios e recursos existentes. Esta entidade orienta a sua ação segundo os cinco eixos de intervenção que compõem o Plano de Ação para o ano de 2020: eixo A – Envelhecimento/Programa Pombal 65+; eixo B – Infância e Juventude; eixo C – Intervenção Social de Proximidade; eixo D – Promoção da Saúde; eixo E – Formação e Empregabilidade. Deste modo, um dos principais pilares da CSFP consiste em dar uma resposta adequada às diversas problemáticas persistentes na comunidade, nomeadamente, o isolamento, o desemprego e a pobreza. O presente relatório retrata os diversos temas que fundamentaram não só a concretização das atividades, mas também que nos permitiram conhecer melhor as especificidades deste tipo de intervenção. Assim, as temáticas exploradas, numa primeira parte, relacionam-se com o envelhecimento, com a participação social das pessoas seniores e com a inclusão social. Seguidamente, apresentamos o Enquadramento Institucional, o Projeto de Estágio e a Descrição das Atividades. Por fim, encontra-se a auto e a heteroavaliação do estágio curricular. Este percurso permitiu-nos desenvolver e aperfeiçoar conhecimentos e competências, a nível pessoal e profissional, como Técnica Superior, na área da Educação e Formação de Adultos e Intervenção Comunitária.

This report results from a period of curricular internship that took place for nine months at the Social Commission of the Parish of Pombal (CSFP), within the scope of the study cycle leading to the degree of Master in Education and Training of Adults and Community Intervention, in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. The CSFP is made up of several entities that intervene in the territory of the parish of Pombal, in response to a social intervention response of proximity with the purpose of promoting local development and the quality of life of the community, in a perspective of optimization of existing means and resources. This entity guides its action according to the five axles of intervention that make up the Action Plan for the year 2020: axis A - Aging / Pombal 65+ Program; axis B - Childhood and Youth; axis C - Social Proximity Intervention; axis D – Promotion of Health; axis E – Training and Employability. Thus, one of the main pillars of the CSFP is to give an appropriate response to the various problems that persist in the community, namely, isolation, unemployment and poverty. This report portrays the various themes that substantiated not only the implementation of activities, but also that allowed to better understand the particularities of this type of intervention. Thus, the themes explored, in the first part, are related to aging, to the social participation of senior people and to social inclusion. Then, we present the institutional framework, the internship project and the description of the activities. Finally, there is the self and hetero-evaluation of the curricular internship. This path has allowed us to develop and improve knowledge and skills, on a personal and professional level, as an educational expert, in the area of Adult Education and Training and Community Intervention.
