Relatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Política Cultural Autárquica – Dinâmicas Culturais e Associativas Do Concelho De Vila Nova de Poiares

Abstract

This report is part of the 2nd cycle course in Municipal Cultural Policy, offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, and is the result of the work developed as an intern in the municipality of Vila Nova de Poiares.The objective of this master's degree is to offer new learning possibilities in the creation and realization of cultural projects and activities within the scope of the municipalities. It also aims to raise awareness and promote the various domains and aspects related to culture, define and coordinate cultural projects, develop the capacity to work with different partners, among others. Because I wished to have a more practical approach and gain experience regarding the functioning of an autarchy, I chose to do an internship.The place chosen to develop the internship was of Vila Nova de Poiares, a Portuguese village in the district of Coimbra, in the Centro region. This municipality has, over the years, stood out more and more for the promotion of cultural and sporting events.During the internship, I developed and participated in the activities carried out at the Poiares Cultural Center, where the Municipal Library is integrated, and performed functions at the “City Council Support Office". The Poiares Cultural Center and the Vila Nova de Poiares City Hall were the central poles of this curricular internship. As a resulte I also got to know the organization and dynamics of cultural equipment, more specifically a municipal library, and actively participating in its operation whenever necessary. In addition, it was also possible to know and experience the functioning of an autarchy through its council.During the internship I also aimed to explore the correlation between reading and dancing. With this purpose I organized activities with the objective of promoting reading through dance, and participated in several activities promoted by the Library and Cultural Center.

Este relatório, realizado no curso de 2º ciclo em Política Cultural Autárquica da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, resulta do trabalho elaborado como estagiária no Município de Vila Nova de Poiares. O objetivo deste mestrado é oferecer novas possibilidades de aprendizagem na criação e realização de projetos e atividades culturais no âmbito dos municípios. Visa também dar a conhecer e promover os vários domínios e vertentes ligados à cultura, definir e coordenar projetos culturais, desenvolver a capacidade para trabalhar com os diversos parceiros, entre outros. Como desejava ter uma vertente mais prática e obter experiência no que toca ao funcionamento de uma autarquia, optei assim por realizar o estágio. O local escolhido para desenvolver o estágio foi o concelho de Vila Nova de Poiares, vila portuguesa do distrito de Coimbra, na região do Centro. Este concelho tem vindo, ao longo dos anos, a destacar-se cada vez mais pela dinamização de eventos culturais e desportivos. Durante o estágio desenvolvi e participei em atividades dinamizadas no Centro Cultural de Poiares, onde está integrada a Biblioteca Municipal, e desempenhei funções no Gabinete de Apoio à Vereação na Câmara Municipal de Poiares. O Centro Cultural de Poiares e a Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Poiares foram os polos centrais deste estágio curricular. Como consequência deste trabalho pude assim conhecer melhor a organização e dinâmicas de um equipamento cultural, mais especificamente de uma biblioteca municipal, participando ativamente no seu funcionamento sempre que necessário. Para além disso, foi ainda possível conhecer e experienciar o funcionamento de uma autarquia através da sua vereação.No decorrer do estágio propus-me ainda a explorar a correlação entre a leitura e a dança. Dinamizei atividades com o objetivo de promover a leitura através da dança e participei ainda em diversos eventos promovidos pela Biblioteca e Centro Cultural de Vila Nova de Poiares.
