Relatórios de Estágio e Monografia intitulada “O Uso Terapêutico do Pólen de Abelha na Perturbação do Espetro do Autismo”

Abstract

O presente trabalho é referente à unidade "Estágio Curricular" e reflete o culminar de cinco anos de aprendizagem, através da realização de seis meses de estágio e de uma monografia. Este trabalho é, portanto, composto por dois relatórios de estágio, ambos estruturados sob forma de análise SWOT, isto é, uma análise que é feita avaliando o ambiente interno da empresa, através da análise dos Pontos Fortes (Strenghts) e dos Pontos Fracos (Weaknesses) e avaliando o ambiente externo, ao analisar as Oportunidades (Opportunities) e Ameaças (Threats), do meio em que se insere. O primeiro relatório de estágio espelha a experiência vivida durante a realização do estágio em Farmácia Comunitária, num período de quatro meses, na Farmácia Nazareth sob orientação da Dra. Ana Patrícia David. Por sua vez, o segundo relatório de estágio diz respeito ao estágio em Indústria Farmacêutica, no departamento de Compliance, realizado na Bluepharma, durante três meses, sob orientação da Dra. Ana Sofia Silva. Ambos terminaram sendo uma experiência enriquecedora, de muita aprendizagem e essenciais para enfrentar o futuro mercado de trabalho. Além dos dois relatórios referidos, este trabalho contém também uma monografia, orientada pelo Professor Doutor António Paranhos, com o tema "O Uso Terapêutico do Pólen de Abelha na Perturbação do Espetro do Autismo", onde é feita uma abordagem da doença que é a Perturbação do Espetro do Autismo (PEA) e onde são descritas as várias características e propriedades terapêuticas que o pólen de abelha apresenta, com o objetivo de mostrar o potencial do pólen de abelha como solução terapêutica na PEA, através da revisão da literatura existente.

The present work refers to the unit "Curricular Internship" and reflects the culmination of five years of learning, through the completion of six months of internship and a monograph. This work is, therefore, composed of two internship reports, both structured in the form of SWOT analysis, that is, an analysis that is carried out evaluating the internal environment of the company, through the analysis of Strenghts and Weaknesses and evaluating the external environment, when analyzing Opportunities and Threats, of the environment in which it operates. The first internship report reflects the experience lived during the internship in Community Pharmacy, over a period of four months, at the Nazareth Pharmacy under the guidance of Dr. Ana Patrícia David. In turn, the second internship report concerns the internship in Pharmaceutical Industry, in the Compliance department, conducted at Bluepharma, for three months, under the guidance of Dr. Ana Sofia Silva. Both ended up being an enriching experience of great learning, essential to face the future job market. In addition to the two reports mentioned, this paper also contains a monograph, guided by Professor António Paranhos, with the theme "The Therapeutic Use of Bee Pollen in Autism Spectrum Disorder", which addresses the disease that is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and where the various characteristics and therapeutic properties that bee pollen presents are described, with the objective of showing the potential of bee pollen as a therapeutic solution in ASD, through a review of the existing literature.
