Traduzir o translúcido em "Sangre Lunar" de José Sanchis Sinisterra: o jogo entre diferentes dimensões artísticas e géneros

Abstract

Este trabalho de projeto tem como principal objetivo apresentar uma proposta de tradução de espanhol para português da obra "Sangre Lunar" de José Sanchis Sinisterra. Ainda que este autor seja um autor da contemporaneidade e de grande importância para o teatro, não se verificaram traduções para português desta obra, o que motivou a realização deste trabalho. Para a tradução de "Sangre Lunar", foi utilizado o modelo funcionalista de análise textual de Christiane Nord, que tem como propósito ajudar o tradutor a tomar decisões em relação à sua tradução, bem como a proposta de Vinay & Darbelnet, com o conjunto de procedimentos que facilitam a solução de problemas de tradução.O trabalho está estruturado em 6 partes. O primeiro capítulo consistirá num enquadramento que contextualiza a vida e obra do autor e apresentará uma breve explicação da corrente literária em que este se insere, o “teatro fronterizo”. Já no segundo capítulo explicar-se-á, fundamentalmente, o título deste projeto, justificando o conceito de translucidez e a mistura de artes e géneros presente em "Sangre Lunar". No terceiro capítulo, será feita uma breve reflexão acerca das principais dificuldades e desafios da tradução de obras dramáticas e de "Sangre Lunar". No quarto capítulo, será apresentado um breve resumo da obra em estudo, seguido pela proposta de tradução; do quinto capítulo constará a análise textual, tendo por base a obra "Análise textual em tradução: bases teóricas, métodos e aplicação didática" de Christiane Nord, e centrando a atenção nos fatores extratextuais, intratextuais e no efeito. O sexto capítulo consistirá numa análise dos problemas de tradução mais relevantes, sustentada pela terminologia proposta por Vinay & Darbelnet em "Comparative Stylistics of French and English: A Methodology for Translation"; este capítulo dividir-se-á em 12 secções principais que constituem problemas de tradução: i) nomes próprios, ii) formas de tratamento, iii) marcadores discursivos, iv) expressões idiomáticas v) construções imagéticas vi) expressões de difícil compreensão vii) preposições viii) tempos verbais ix) regências verbais x) interjeições xi) referências culturais e xii) outras situações problemáticas. Será também possível verificar que, mesmo fazendo uma análise detalhada e abrangente da obra em estudo, existem sempre tópicos e possíveis interpretações que ficam por abordar. No entanto, os métodos utilizados são uma ferramenta essencial para que este tipo de trabalhos se tornem mais objetivos e completos.

The main aim of this project is to present a translation proposal, from Spanish to Portuguese, of "Sangre Lunar" by José Sanchis Sinisterra. Even though José Sanchis Sinisterra is a contemporary author and an important author for the theatre, there have been no translations into Portuguese of "Sangre Lunar", which motivated the elaboration of this project. For the translation of "Sangre Lunar", it was used the functionalist model of text analysis of Christiane Nord, which aims to help the translator to make decisions regarding its translation, as well as Vinay & Darbelnet’s proposal, with the set of procedures that facilitate the solution of translation problems.This work is structured in 6 parts. The first chapter will consist of a contextualization of the author's life and work and will present a brief explanation of the literary current in which he is inserted, the “fronterizo theatre”. In the second chapter, it will be explained, essentially, the title of this project by justifying the concept of translucency and the mix of arts and genres present in "Sangre Lunar". In the third chapter, a brief reflection will be made about the main difficulties and challenges of translating dramatic works and "Sangre Lunar". In the fourth chapter, it will be presented a summary of the work under study, followed by the translation proposal; the fifth chapter will contain the text analysis, based on the work "Text analysis in translation: theory, methodology, and didactic application of a model for translation-oriented text analysis" by Christiane Nord, and focusing on the extratextual and intratextual factors and on the effect. The sixth chapter will consist of an analysis of the most relevant translation problems, based on the terminology proposed by Vinay & Darbelnet in "Comparative Stylistics of French and English: A Methodology for Translation"; this chapter will be divided into 12 main sections that constitute translation problems: i) proper names, ii) forms of treatment, iii) discourse markers, iv) idioms v) imagery constructions vi) expressions difficult to understand vii) prepositions viii) verbal tenses ix) verbal regency x) interjections xi) cultural references and xii) other problematic situations. It will also be possible to verify that, even by doing an in-depth and detailed analysis of the work under study, there are always topics and possible interpretations that remain to be addressed. However, the methods used are an essential tool that helps this kind of works to become more objective and complete.
