A Prática Terapêutica com Clientes Mandatados/ Involuntários: Um Estudo Qualitativo

Abstract

Resumo:O objetivo deste estudo visa recolher contributos de peritos com experiência na intervenção com clientes mandatados/involuntários, incluindo a sua perceção sobre a viabilidade, utilidade e pertinência da criação de um guia orientador/protocolo para a prática terapêutica com estes clientes, em Portugal. Foram entrevistados quatro interventores com experiência clínica compreendida entre os 16 e os 22 anos e, entre os 8 e 16 anos especificamente na área dos clientes involuntários/mandatados. Procedeu-se à aplicação de uma entrevista semi-diretiva em regime online e, posteriormente, à análise de conteúdo das mesmas através da técnica de análise categorial de Laurence Bardin (1977).Os resultados obtidos evidenciam a necessidade de uma crescente investigação e descomplexificação das noções em torno deste tipo de intervenção e sublinham a insuficiência de oportunidades de formação teórico-prática para os terapeutas que atuam na área. Preconiza-se que as sugestões propostas sejam analisadas e aprimoradas futuramente, com o intuito da criação de um protocolo aberto, flexível, extensível e replicável a nível nacional.
