Since the most remote times, humans have needed to settle down and protect themselves from adverse environmental and climatic conditions. This has led to the evolution of construction over the past few years to meet the needs of the population. However, this evolution has led to an excessive use of energy resources and, therefore, will be studied ways to combat consumption at the domestic level.Due to the excessive use of resources, we must invest and introduce different solutions in order to take advantage of natural resources and phenomena. An example of this is the passive solar systems in homes, that is, the use of Sun's energy for housing air conditioning, without the use of mechanical means.Home automation presents itself as a solution for the control and management of various infrastructures which, due to its development and the standard of comfort of society, is increasingly an integral part of housing, thus allowing greater convenience and benefit for the user. With this dissertation, it is intended to show how the use of passive solar architecture can be enhanced through the introduction of automation in construction solutions, aiming at heating by solar gains and natural ventilation. A scale model will be created, assigning scenarios and actions developed automatically or manually. It is expected that, for our climate, these solutions will be able to satisfy the parameters of thermal comfort of the houses or, at least, allow the reduction of the energy consumption in the house., , , .
