Patologias não estruturais: Estudo de caso do Portugal dos Pequenitos

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio visa descrever as atividades realizadas durante o estágio curricular no âmbito do Mestrado em Património Cultural e Museologia no ramo Conservação e Reabilitação subordinado ao tema “Patologias não estruturais: estudo de caso do Portugal dos Pequenitos”, local onde se realizou o estágio que consistiu no levantamento do estado de conservação dos edifícios.Primeiramente focamo-nos na entidade desde a fundação à criação do Portugal dos pequenitos, seguindo-se a elaboração do contexto histórico da Conservação e a Reabilitação de património edificado, a nível internacional e nacional (Séc. XX-XXI), pela análise de intervenções e democratização das cartas e doutrinas europeias. Em segundo lugar são expostas as noções de intervenção através da explicação dos conceitos de: conservação, manutenção, restauro, reparação, reconstrução e reabilitação. Uma intervenção de reabilitação deve ter por base três vertentes principais: a autenticidade, a compatibilidade dos materiais e a reversibilidade, sendo eles aqui elucidados. Do mesmo modo são também apresentados graus de intervenção (média, ligeira e profunda) e descritas várias técnicas de limpeza (física, mecânica e química).Finalmente, é exposto o enquadramento do processo patológico (anomalias e agentes de degradação). Fez parte integrante da metodologia de trabalho o levantamento do estado de conservação dos edifícios - através de fichas de avaliação dos elementos construtivos e foram avaliados os edifícios que necessitam de uma intervenção urgente sendo apresentadas as respetivas propostas de intervenção. Por fim, apresentam-se as considerações finais do trabalho desenvolvido.

This report aims to describe the activities performed during the curricular internship in the context of the master's degree in Cultural Heritage and museology in the field of conservation and rehabilitation, which the title is "Non-structural pathologies: case study of Portugal dos Pequenitos", where the internship was held and that consisted in the study of the state of conservation of their buildings.Firstly, the focus is on the entity, since the foundation until the creation of Portugal dos Pequenitos, following the elaboration of the historical context of conservation and the rehabilitation of built heritage, on an international and a national level (Séc. XX-XXI), through the analysis of interventions and democratization of European Letters and doctrines.Secondly, the notions of intervention are presented, explaining the concepts of: conservation, maintenance, restoration, repair, reconstruction and rehabilitation. A rehabilitation intervention should be based on three main strands which are elucidated here: the authenticity, the compatibility of the materials and the reversibility. Similarly, the grade of intervention is also given (medium, slight and profound) and several techniques of cleaning (physical, mechanical and chemical) are described.Thirdly, this essay follows the framing of the pathological process (anomalies and degradation agents). It was an integral part of the working methodology to review and analyze the state of conservation of buildings- through evaluation sheets of the constructive elements, and the buildings in need of an urgent intervention were evaluated and its Intervention proposals. Finally, the final considerations of the work developed are presented.
