Abstract

The Master's Degree in Clinical Analysis, of the Faculty of Pharmacy, of the University of Coimbra, culminates with the completion of a curricular internship, whose objective is to apply, in the context of work, the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the various course units.This curricular internship took place at the Germano de Sousa - Laboratory Medicine Center, inserted in the CUF Viseu Hospital, and lasted approximately 600 hours. Throughout the internship, I integrated and participated in the laboratory's operating routine, which allowed me to consolidate knowledge and gain experience in the execution of the most varied techniques and tasks.This report describes the operation of the laboratory and the activities developed in the sectors of Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology and Hematology, in which I participated. O Mestrado em Análises Clínicas da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Coimbra, culmina com a realização de um estágio curricular, cujo objetivo consiste em aplicar, em contexto de trabalho, os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos ao longo das diversas unidades curriculares.Este estágio curricular decorreu no laboratório Germano de Sousa – Centro de Medicina Laboratorial, inserido no Hospital CUF Viseu, e teve a duração de aproximadamente 600 horas. Ao longo do estágio, integrei e participei na rotina de funcionamento do laboratório, o que me permitiu consolidar conhecimentos e adquirir experiência na execução das mais variadas técnicas e tarefas.O presente relatório, descreve o funcionamento do laboratório e as atividades desenvolvidas nos setores da Bioquímica, Imunologia, Microbiologia e Hematologia, nas quais participei.
