Resumo: Num mercado cada vez mais dinâmico, as empresas deparam-se com novas tecnologias e, consequentemente, surge a necessidade de se adaptarem. Atualmente, o objetivo das empresas não se restringe ao lucro. De facto, tem-se verificado uma crescente preocupação com o cliente e a criação de valor de modo a retê-lo. Em mercados industriais / business-to-business (B2B), torna-se imperativo a adoção de técnicas de marketing relacional. Neste enquadramento e por forma a alcançar vantagem competitiva sustentável, as empresas têm de evoluir os relacionamentos com os clientes a um patamar superior, denominando-se de engagement.O presente relatório tem como finalidade a obtenção do grau de mestre em Gestão pela Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra. Este trabalho é o resultado do estágio curricular realizado no departamento de Marketing Estratégico dos Serviços Corporativos da Efacec Power Solutions, SA. (EPS), desde o dia 4 de janeiro a 14 de junho de 2019.Neste contexto, o relatório debruça-se sobre matéria da área do marketing relacional nos mercados business-to-business, focando-se principalmente no customer engagement.Para tal, optou-se por dividir este trabalho em três partes: o enquadramento teórico, o estágio curricular e a respetiva avaliação. Relativamente ao enquadramento teórico, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura disponível à data sobre o marketing relacional, o customer engagement e variantes associadas, sistemas de gestão de clientes também denominado de Customer Relationship Management (CRM) e a conetividade em empresas industriais, com foco na Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). No segundo capítulo é apresentado as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio, sendo que o mesmo está subdividido em atividades principais e atividades secundárias; para além disso, enfatiza-se o caso: “Efacec Connect Solutions”, que teve por base os conhecimentos adquiridos na revisão de literatura. O último capítulo remete para avaliação do estágio, na qual é apresentado as considerações finais da estagiária.
In an increasingly dynamic market, companies are faced with new technologies and, consequently, they need to adapt themselves. Nowadays, the objective of companies is not limited to profit. In fact, there has been a growing concern with the customer and the creation of value in order to retain it. In business-to-business (B2B) markets, it becomes imperative to adopt relational marketing techniques. In this context, and with the purpose of achieving a sustainable competitive advantage, companies must evolve their relationships with customers to a higher level, called engagement.This report aims to obtain a master's degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra. This work is the result of the curricular internship held in Efacec Power Solutions (EPS) Corporate Services’s Strategic Marketing department. from January 4 to June 14, 2019.In this context, the report focuses on the area of relational marketing in the business- to-business markets, with the focus on customer engagement.For this, it was chosen to divide this work into three parts: the theoretical framework, the curricular internship and the respective evaluation. Regarding the theoretical framework, a review of the literature available to date on relational marketing, customer engagement and associated variants, Customer Management Systems (CRM) and connectivity in industrial companies, focusing on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) was conducted. In the second chapter it is presented all the activities developed during the internship, which were subdivided into main activities and secondary activities; in addition, it is emphasized the "Efacec Connect Solutions" case, which was based on the knowledge acquired in the literature review. The last chapter refers to the evaluation of the internship, in which the intern's final considerations are presented.
