ANIM’ ARTE – O SEGREDO DA ALEGRIA! - Projeto Educativo no Pavilhão Lions do Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa

Abstract

Este relatório apresenta as atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio curricular para a obtenção do grau Mestre em Ciências da Educação pela Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra, que decorreu no Serviço de Pediatria do Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa.Iniciado em outubro de 2017 e terminado em junho de 2018, o estágio curricular centrou-se no desenvolvimento do projeto “Anim’Arte – O Segredo da Alegria!”. Este projeto de intervenção nasce da premissa de acreditar que trabalhar com crianças e/ou adolescentes com doenças oncológicas, traria diversos e múltiplos benefícios para ambos os lados. As atividades foram desenvolvidas em vinte sessões realizadas com crianças e adolescentes do Pavilhão Lions.Para melhor envolver o público-alvo ao longo do projeto, desenvolverem-se três tipos de atividades: leitura, e escrita – “Eu sou uma obra de arte…”, culinária para educação infantil – “Crianças na Cozinha” e recursos educativos digitais – “O Mundo do Saber”, com o intuito de captar a sua atenção e tornar as sessões mais dinâmicas, motivando as crianças e adolescentes para a aprendizagem. This report presents the activities carried out in the scope of the curricular internship to obtain the Master's degree in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, which was held at the Paediatric Service of the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Lisbon.Beginning in October 2017 and finished in June 2018, the curricular internship focused on the development of the project “Anim’Arte – O Segredo da Alegria!” ("Anim'Arte - The Secret of Joy!"). This intervention project departs from the premise of the belief that working with children and/or adolescents with cancer would benefit both sides, children and the Master Student. The activities were developed in twenty sessions with children and adolescents of the Lions’ Pavilion.To better engage the target audience throughout the project, three types of sessions were developed: reading and writing, cooking fot children and interactive applications to capture their attention and make the sessions more dynamic, motivating children and teenagers to learn.
