Intervenção social para a capacitação individual e comunitária através da educação: Uma experiência de estágio numa ONG.

Abstract

A nossa sociedade continua marcada por inúmeros episódios de violência associados a desigualdades de poder, seja ela doméstica, no namoro, de género ou até violência em contexto escolar. As questões de género podem explicar uma parte dessa violência e as aprendizagens que estão na sua base podem ser adquiridas pelas crenças desde muito cedo no âmbito da socialização. As mulheres são caracterizadas como seres frágeis e inferiores aos homens e uma evidência disso é a desigualdade salarial entre homens e mulheres sendo poucas as mulheres que tem um salário acima do dos homens. A sociedade vai-se esquecendo que todas as pessoas nasceram com um direito fundamental, o direito à vida e que ambos os sexos devem ter direitos e oportunidades iguais, não devendo ser discriminados em função das suas características específicas.O presente relatório traduz o trabalho de uma futura profissional e especialista na área da educação, numa organização não-governamental, tendo-se centrado mais na intervenção junto de jovens.Todo o trajeto feito desde setembro de 2017 a julho de 2018 teve como enfoque a promoção da igualdade de género e a prevenção da violência. Através do projetoUBICOOL e de uma rede de voluntários/as.O nosso estágio curricular na CooLabora, abrangeu diversas atividades destinadas a crianças e jovens.O relatório é constituído por diversas partes, iniciando-se pela caracterização da instituição, de seguida pela fundamentação teórica e a descrição das atividades desenvolvidas, incluindo a sua avaliação.

Our society continues to be marked by innumerable episodes of violence associated to irequalities of power, be it domestic, dating, gender or even violence in a school context. Gender issues may explain some of this violence and the learning that is at its base can be acquired by beliefs very early in the socialization process. Women are characterizedas fragile and inferior to men and one evidence of this is the wage inequality between men and women, with few women having a salary higher than men.Inequality between the sexes is something that has been combated over the years, but this achievement has gone too slowly. Society is forgetting that all people were born with a fundamental right, the right to life and that both sexes should have equal rights and opportunities, and should not be discriminated against because of their specific characteristics.This report reflects the work of a future professional and specialist in the field of education in a non-governmental organization and has focused more on intervention with young people.All the way done from September 2017 to July 2018 focused on the promotion of gender equality and the prevention of violence through the UBICOOL project and a network of young volunteers.Our curricular internship at CooLabora has covered several activities for children and young people.The report consists of several parts, beginning with the characterization of the institution, followed by the theoretical basis and the description of the activities developed, including its evaluation.
