Construir o Território entre duas Cidades. Habitat Modular Auto-Sustentável

Abstract

O propósito deste trabalho parte do exercício prático de projecto desenvolvido na unidade curricular de Atelier de Projecto II, sendo o objecto de estudo proposto pelo professor da disciplina “Sines>Santo André, Ligando a Vila Velha à Vila Nova”. O principal objectivo inicial, comum a toda a turma, foi responder ao desafio proposto pela Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa 2016, com o enunciado: «Sines: núcleo urbano, indústria e estrutura portuária». Ao longo do primeiro semestre foi realizada em grupo uma proposta urbana, que estabelecia a ligação entre a Vila de Sines e a Vila de Santo André, através de uma estrutura rizomática. Individualmente, pretendeu-se propor habitação turística e permanente para a área central da estratégia, utilizando o mesmo modelo arquitectónico quer em meio agrícola, quer em meio florestal, em modelos colectivos e isolados, com carácter evolutivo ou reversível. Neste âmbito foram propostas habitações de madeira, de carácter reversivo e auto-sustentável, com o objectivo de proteger a biodiversidade da região, estimulando a sua descoberta; e de promover o turismo nesta, associado aos conceitos de natureza, desportos náuticos, saúde e bem-estar. Com o objectivo de valorizar o património existente e as características próprias deste território, foi criada uma “agro-cidade” utilizando um modelo arquitectónico evolutivo que se agrega em banda, formando diversos núcleos cooperativos de exploração agrícola para consumo próprio, que se inserem na estrutura rizomática da estratégia urbana.

The purpose of this work came from the practical exercise of the project developed in the unit Atelier de Projecto II, with the object of study being "Sines>Santo André, Ligando a Vila Velha à Vila Nova", which was proposed by the class teacher. The main initial goal, common to the whole class, was to create an answer to the Triennial of Lisbon Architecture 2016, with the statement: «Sines: núcleo urbano, indústria e estrutura portuária».Over the first semester an urban proposal was made, in group, that made the connection between Vila de Sines and Vila de Santo André, through a rhizomatic structure. Individually, it was proposed a tourist and permanent accomodation for the central area of that strategy, by using the same architectural model both in agricultural and forestal environment, in colective and isolated environment, with an evolutionary and reversible character. In this context, it was proposed wooden housing, with reversible and self-sustaining character, with the goal of protecting the region's biodiversity, stimulating the discovery of the region and promoting tourism associated to the concepts of nature, water sports, health and welfare/comfort. With the purpose of giving value to the existing territory and the territory's own characteristics, an "agro-city" is built, by using an evolutionary architectural model that is put together in a row, forming various cooperative farm cores used for self-consumption, that fit into the rhizomatic structure of the urban strategy.
