Abs. (p=0,029), Potência Máxima Rel. (p=0,016) e Potência Média Rel. (p=0,045). A amostra apresentou os valores médios de MG 11,78 + 3,91 %; VO2max rel. 64,30 + 5,26 ml/Kg/min; [la] 12,78 + 3,06 mmol/l; FCmax 189,79 + 10,94 bpm; FCLAL 174,75 + 12,21 bpm; Potência Max. Abs (0,620*); MC : FCmax ( - 0,401*); MC : Potencia Med. Rel. (- 0,418*); MC : Potência Med. Abs (0,430*); MNG : VO2max. Abs. (0,686**); MNG : FCmax (-0,520**); VO2max. Rel. : CMJ (-0,446*)), que ajudam a perceber performance do atleta.
Aim: Analysis and comparison of the competitive level of the two senior teams involved in the study (1st and 2nd Division of the Portuguese Futsal Championship). Trying to know if there are significant differences in the mean of each variable evaluated from morphological, physiological and functional parameters, and consequent characterization of the sport. Methodology: Were evaluated 27 Futsal athletes (26.30 + 5.49 years, 171.26 + 6.00 cm height, body mass 70.98 + 7.34 kg). The morphological (body mass (BM), height (h), fat mass (FM), non-fat mass (NFM)), physiological (oxygen consumption, heart rate, blood lactate concentration and respiratory quotient) and functional (explosive strength, speed and power) variables were considered. Data analysis have considered the statistics as descriptive. The comparison of averages of the teams investigated and the correlation between variables was performed using Student's t test and Pearson correlation coefficient, respectively, with significance level equal to or less than 0.01 or 0.05. Results: There were no statistically significant differences in the averages of the analyzed parameters between the athletes of the 1st and 2nd Division, except: Respiratory Quotient (p = 0.033), Max Power Abs (p = 0.029), Maximum Power Rel (p = 0.016) and Average Power Rel (p = 0.045). The sample revealed the average values of Body Fat 11.78 + 3.91% VO2max rel. 64.30 + 5.26 ml / kg / min, [la] 12.78 + 3.06 mmol / l; HRmax 189.79 + 10.94 bpm; FCLAL 174.75 + 12.21 beat min−1 Max Power Rel.9, 51 + 1.61 W / kg and Abs 674.74 + 124.13 W. Positive significant correlations with the Pearson coefficient of the variables: BM:h; BM:BMI; BM:NFM; BM:FM; BM:VO2max abs; h:NFM; h:VO2max; h:SJ; h:CMJ; Age:BMI; Age:NFM; NFM:VO2max Ab.; NFM:SJ; MNG:CMJ; MNG:Hrmax. The negative significant correlations in the variables were: NFM:FCLAL; BMI:VO2max rel; NFM:Hrmax. Conclusions: The two teams studied, although of being in two different divisions, have showed a big relation at the parameters evaluated. What doesn´t allow to create a different profile for athletes 1st division and 2nd division. The characterization of the parameters evaluated, meets the requirements of the sport, allowing to reach positive and negative correlations between the variables (BM: VO2max. Abs (0.620 *) BM: HRmax (- 0.401 *) BM: Power Med Rel (- 0.418 *) BM: Med Power Abs (0.430 *); NFM: VO2max. Abs (0.686 **), NFM: HRmax (-0.520 **), VO2max. Rel: CMJ (-0.446 *)) that help to understand the athlete's performance.
