Metáforas psicanalíticas na obra de Mário de Sá-Carneiro. Uma hermenêutica da morte em vida

Abstract

Com respeito pela autonomia dos valores estéticos e pela autonomia semântica de cada criação artística, mas procurando contribuir, numa perspectiva peculiar, para uma visão poliédrica da indeterminada plurissignificação das obras literárias, esta tese apresenta um olhar sobre as metáforas psicanalíticas na obra de Mário de Sá-Carneiro, sobretudo focando a histeria masculina (à luz de Freud e Lacan) diagnosticada em personagens da sua ficção narrativa, mas também no sujeito poético da sua obra lírica. A escrita de Sá-Carneiro parte de laivos decadentistas e simbolistas que, de forma genial, faz ultrapassar as conturbadas configurações finisseculares, para se integrarem inovadoramente no projeto do Primeiro Modernismo português, emergente em Orpheu. Vocação modernista, pois, Sá-Carneiro iniciou seu trajeto no teatro e fez de sua breve vida uma grande peça dramática e lírica, visível nos seus protagonistas e no seu ‗eu lírico‘. Uma obra reveladora de um grande exercício da escrita e da criação num curto espaço de tempo. Um (des)encontro entre um Eu perdido e ―Aquele Outro‖, aprisionado no intermédio, o poeta pairou sempre entre o princípio e o fim, encenando continuamente uma hermenêutica da morte em vida, insistente, histérica… Assim, teatralizou o próprio suicídio e, por um erro de cálculo, pousou definitivamente no infinito.

Respecting the autonomy of the aesthetic values as well as the semantic autono-my of each artistic creation, but seeking to contribute, in a peculiar perspective, to a polyhedral vision of the indeterminate multi-significance of the literary work, this the-sis presents a glance over the psychoanalytical metaphors in the work of Mário de Sá-Carneiro, mainly focusing on male hysteria (through the scope of Freud and Lacan) dyagnosed in characters of his narrative fiction, but also in the poetic subject of his lyr-ic. The writing of Sá-Carneiro is punctuated with decadent and symbolist overtones that, in a genial way, surpasses the disturbed fin-de-siecle configurations, innovatively integrating in the project of the portuguese First Modernism, emerging in Orpheu. Modernist vocation, therefore, Sá-Carneiro began his journey in the theater and made a brief life a great play of drama and lyric, mirrored in his protagonists and his ‗lyrical self‘. A work that reveals an astounding mastery in writing and creation in a short span of time. A (dis)encounter between a lost I and ―That Other‖, imprisoned in the interme-diate, the poet has always hovered between the beginning and the end, continuously acting an hermeneutic of death in life, insistent, and histerycal… This way, he per-formed his own suicide and, by a miscalculation, he definitively rested in the infinity.
