Interacções entre escola e protecção civil – a exposição ‘S.O.S. Riscos Naturais’

Abstract

O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma investigação centrada numa intervenção educativa de carácter não-formal, que envolveu a realização de actividades de sensibilização em protecção civil, no âmbito de uma visita à exposição ‘S.O.S. Riscos Naturais’, patente na Casa Municipal da Protecção Civil de Coimbra. Tendo como objectivo estimular, nos alunos envolvidos, a adopção, no seu quotidiano, de atitudes e comportamentos adequados para a prevenção dos riscos naturais, a intervenção registou mudanças nas percepções dos alunos acerca dos riscos a que podem estar expostos.

This work refers to the results of a research based on an educative intervention of nonformal character, which involved the execution of awareness activities in the scope of civil protection, and of a visit to the exhibition “S.O.S Naturals Risks”, patent on “Casa Municipal da Protecção Civil de Coimbra”. Having as main propose, stimulate, in the involved students, the adoption, in day/to/day situations, of appropriate attitudes and behaviors in the mood of the prevention of natural risks, this intervention searched to promote interactions, necessary and relevant, between schools and the Civil Protection.
