Ateliê dos saberes: o que esperar de uma biblioteca?

Abstract

Para além de uma representação cenográfica, repleta de livros, revistas, sussurros e poder, a biblioteca contribui para formação do pesquisador. Sua arquitetura é baseada em saberes diversos e sobre esse ponto de partida se faz necessário repensar e recuperar a complexidade da vida nas ciências e nas atividades humanas no que tange o método e as formas de conhecimento. A narrativa desse capítulo partirá da premissa que a biblioteca é o ateliê dos saberes e buscará realizar reflexões metodológicas que legitimem a importância da teoria e da prática para analisar as lutas e as causas sociais em que, não raramente, os pesquisadores estão envolvidos. Os autores selecionados nos convidam a tecer saberes que legitimam as diversas formas de ver e ler o mundo através das pesquisas científicas.

In addition to a scenographic representation, with plenty of books, magazines, whispers and power, a library contributes to the researcher’s development. Its architecture is grounded on diverse knowledge. From this starting point, to rethink and recover the complexity of life in sciences and in human activities in what concerns the method and the forms of knowledge is necessary. The chapter’s narrative, founded on the premise that the library is the atelier of knowledge, aims at carrying out methodological reflections that legitimize the importance of theory and practice to analyse the struggles and the social causes that often researchers are engaged in. The selected authors invite us to weave knowledges that legitimize the diverse ways of seeing and reading the world through scientific research.
