Impacto da análise dos desvios de inventário no desempenho financeiro de uma empresa nos setores da Energia, Mobilidade e Ambiente

Abstract

No âmbito da unidade curricular Dissertação, inserida no último ano do Mestrado em Engenharia e Gestão Industrial (MEGI) da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra (FCTUC), foi proposto um projeto a realizar na Área Transversal de Logística (ATLog) no grupo Efacec, intitulado como: “Impacto da análise dos desvios de inventário no desempenho financeiro de uma empresa nos setores da Energia, Mobilidade e Ambiente”.Este projeto foi proposto com o objetivo de existir um maior controlo nos inventários e transmitir uma informação mais real e fidedigna da situação financeira atual da empresa.Na chegada à ATLog foi necessário realizar um estudo da situação atual das Unidades de Negócio (UN) relativamente à inventariação física de existências. A análise da situação atual foi feita com entrevistas realizadas aos responsáveis de cada UN e respetivos responsáveis pela logística e gestão de stocks e, foi constatado que grande parte das UN não investe tempo e uma visão crítica para a contagem de inventário nos seus armazéns patrimoniais pelo menos uma vez por ano. Desta forma, foi criado um processo transversal de inventariação física de existências com o propósito de ser implementado em todas as UN e existir um maior controlo e partilha de informação sobre o que existe nos armazéns e nos Sistemas ERP usados.Para responder aos objetivos deste projeto, o processo foi implementado numa UN, no Service, como projeto piloto. A partir do processo, na fase análise dos desvios, foi obtida a discrepância entre o stock físico com o stock registado no sistema ERP e os stocks foram regularizados. Por fim, o valor total dos desvios obtidos no inventário foi comparado com o valor total do stock no SRV e com a rubrica existências no balanço patrimonial da empresa EfacecEnergia, S.A., ao qual o SRV pertence, com o objetivo de entender de que forma a análise dos desvios do inventário realizado tem impacto no valor patrimonial da empresa.

As part of my Dissertation for the last year of my Masters in Industrial Engineeringand Management (MEGI) lectured at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra (FCTUC), a project in the Transversal Area of Logistics (ATLog) for the Efacec group was proposed, titled: "Impact inventory analysis deviations on the financial performance of a company in the Energy, Mobility and Environment sectors".This project was proposed with the objective of having better control in inventories and transmitting more realistic and reliable information on the company's current financial situation.When arriving at ATLog it was necessary to conduct a study of the current situation of the Business Units (BU) regarding the physical stocktaking. The analysis of the current situation was done through interviews with the heads of each BU and their respective heads of logistics and stock management, and it was found that a large part of BU does not investtime and use critical thinking to do an inventory count of their asset warehouses at least onea year. Thus, a transversal process of physical inventory of their stocks was created with the purpose of being implemented in all BU, in order to have greater control and share information about what exists in the warehouses and ERP systems used.To meet the objectives of this project, the process created was implemented in a BU, in the Service, as a pilot project. From the process, in the deviations analysis phase, the discrepancy between the physical stock and the stock present in the ERP system was obtained and the stocks were regularized.Finally, the total value of deviations in the inventory obtained, was compared with the total value of stock in SRV and with the stock item in the balance sheet of Efacec Energia,S.A., with the purpose of understanding how the analysis of the deviations in the carried out impacts on the equity value of the company
