Biography
José Manuel Dos Santos Dos Santos is currently a Invited Auxiliar Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, by request, and is a professor at the Castêlo da Maia School Group. He completed his PhD in Computational Algebra on 05/10/2019 from the Open University (UAb), a Master's in Mathematics Teaching in 2000 from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) and a Degree in Mathematics (Educational Branch) in 1993 from FCUP. In 2017 he completed the Advanced Studies course in Computational Algebra at UAb. Completes the European Doctorate Course in Science Teaching and Dissemination at FCUP in 2012. He is a researcher at the Porto Polytechnic Institute, Higher School of Education, at the Center for Research and Innovation in Education (inED) and collaborator at the Research Center \& Development in Mathematics and Applications (CIDMA). He is also the Principal Investigator at the GeoGebra Institute in Portugal. Manages several projects with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Science and Culture Education (OEI) and the Faculty of Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, having also developed projects with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, with these projects aiming to collaborate with Teacher Training in Portuguese-speaking Countries. He was a researcher at the Center for Computational and Stochastic Mathematics at the University of Lisbon. He supervised master's and Post Doc work in the area of Mathematics Education with an emphasis on the use of technologies. He works in the area(s) of Exact Sciences with an emphasis on Mathematics and Science with an emphasis on Education in Applied Sciences. In his professional activities, he interacted with 14 collaborator(s) in co-authoring scientific articles.
