Abstract

Questiona-se qual o contexto arqueológico original e qual a primitiva forma completa de uma inscrição encastrada na parede da capela de S. Pedro de Balsemão (Lamego). Considera-se que, pelas características textuais, o monumento data dos primórdios do século I da nossa era. What was the real archaeological context and the real morphology of the Roman inscription inserted long time ago in the wall of the São Pedro de Balsemão’s temple, in the western Lusitania? His text is dated surely in the first beginning of the first century A. D.
