Eficiência energética numa indústria de recauchutagem de pneus : auditoria energética e propostas de melhoria

Abstract

The general objective of this dissertation is to do the characterization of the company Rechapal, a company inserted in the tire retreading field. The types of energy used in the facilities and how it is used were determined in detail, as well as the value of production.The first phase consisted on carrying out a global analysis of energy consumption from the bills associated with the two forms of energy used: electrical and thermal energy. It was been concluded that the company is not an intensive energy consumer, and therefore consumes less than 500 tep, a value that Portuguese legislation uses as a reference.Carrying out the energy analysis allows us to have an idea in which areas the potential for savings will be greater and, as such, how to act. With the available information, the values of the energy indicators have been calculated.Afterwards, after the recognition of the installations, the main energy consuming systems of the installations are described, which are compressed air and steam production system. Accounting for the energy losses that occur in these and the value they represent. For this, a detailed study of the boiler was carried out, thus obtaining its efficiency.Finally, based on the various analyzes carried out, some proposals for measures are defined to be implemented, aimed at reducing energy consumption. Thus, reducing the annual consumption of primary energy and consequently reducing the costs associated with its use and the emission of greenhouse gases.

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo genérico a caracterização energética da empresa RECHAPAL, uma empresa inserida no ramo da recauchutagem de pneus. Determinou-se de forma detalhada quais os tipos de energia utilizada nas instalações e de que forma a mesma é gasta, assim como o valor da produção. A primeira fase do trabalho consistiu em fazer-se uma análise global dos consumos energéticos a partir das faturas associadas às duas formas de energia utilizadas: energia elétrica e térmica. Conclui-se que a empresa não é uma consumidora intensiva de energia, tendo, portanto, consumos inferiores a 500 tep, valor que a legislação portuguesa utiliza como referência. A realização da análise energética permite ter noção em quais áreas o potencial de economia será maior e como tal de que forma se deve atuar. Tendo sido calculados, com a informação disponível, os valores dos indicadores energéticos.Seguidamente, após o reconhecimento das instalações, descreve-se os principais sistemas consumidores de energia das instalações, sendo estes o sistema de produção de ar comprimido e vapor. Contabilizando-se as perdas energéticas que ocorrem nestes e o valor que estas representam. Para isto foi feito um estudo detalhado à caldeira, obtendo-se assim o seu rendimento.Por fim, com base nas várias análises feitas, são definidas algumas propostas de medidas para serem implementadas que visam a redução dos consumos energéticos e aumento da eficiência energética. Reduzindo-se assim os consumos anuais de energia primária e por consequência reduz-se também os custos associados à sua utilização e a emissão de gases com efeito de estufa.
