Reabilitação de coberturas de madeira e telha cerâmica nos centros históricos, numa perspetiva integrada de desempenho, valor patrimonial e sustentabilidade: caso de estudo em Viseu

Abstract

O presente estudo será realizado no âmbito da Dissertação de Mestrado em Engenharia Civil – Reabilitação de Edifícios com o tema de Reabilitação de coberturas de madeira e telha cerâmica nos centros históricos, numa perspetiva integrada de desempenho, valor patrimonial e sustentabilidade: caso de estudo em Viseu. ´Muitas cidades possuem atualmente um patrimônio edificado bastante envelhecido. Em 2010 estimava-se que a totalidade de edifícios anteriores a 1960 existentes em Portugal eram de cerca de 899.379. Os centros históricos de países como Portugal, Brasil e etc., possuem muitas edificações com suas fachadas, coberturas e pisos em avançado estado de degradação devido à falta de manutenção e intervenção. A falta de manutenção ou ainda, intervenções desajustadas também provocam o surgimento de anomalias, por isso é importante estudos no sentido de identifica-las e propor intervenções compatíveis com os elementos existentes.As ações de reabilitação em Portugal tem vindo a aumentar, tal como no resto da Europa, por isso é importante que a conservação e a reabilitação de coberturas em edifícios históricos e correntes tenham uma atenção especial, uma vez que esses elementos são responsáveis por proteger a edificação de ações climatéricas e, quando não bem planeadas, executadas e mantidas regularmente, elas próprias desenvolverão anomalias a diferentes níveis, desde simples infiltrações ou desgaste de material precoce, até comprometimento estrutural da cobertura e fachadas, com possível impacto nos outros elementos construtivos.Dessa forma, propõem-se realizar a caracterização e análise do estado de conservação, tipologia e patologias das coberturas de edifícios localizados no centro Histórico de Viseu em Portugal, em que para além da sua caracterização, sejam também propostas intervenções levando em consideração os aspectos relacionados com a sustentabilidade, o valor patrimonial e o desempenho, de modo que possam futuramente, serem parâmetros para reabilitações sustentáveis.

The present study will be carried out within the scope of the Master's Dissertation in Civil Engineering - Rehabilitation of Buildings with the theme of Rehabilitation of roofs of wood and ceramic tile in historical centers, with an integrated perspective of performance, patrimonial value and sustainability: a case study in Viseu . 'Many cities now have an aging heritage. In 2010, it was estimated that all pre-1960 buildings in Portugal were about 899,379. The historical centers of countries such as Portugal, Brazil and etc., have many buildings with their facades, coverings and floors in an advanced state of degradation due to lack of maintenance and intervention.The lack of maintenance or even maladaptive interventions also lead to the appearance of anomalies, so it is important to study them in order to identify them and propose interventions compatible with the existing elements.Rehabilitation actions in Portugal have been increasing, as in the rest of Europe, so it is important that the conservation and rehabilitation of roofs in historic and current buildings pay special attention, since these elements are responsible for protecting the construction of climatic actions and, when not well planned, executed and maintained regularly, they themselves will develop anomalies at different levels, from simple infiltrations or wear of precocious material, to structural impairment of the cover and facades, with possible impact on the other constructive elements.Thus, it is proposed to carry out the characterization and analysis of the conservation status, typology and pathologies of the roofs of buildings located in the Historic Center of Viseu in Portugal, in which besides their characterization, interventions are also proposed taking into account the related aspects with sustainability, equity value and performance, so that in the future they may be parameters for sustainable rehabilitation.
