Abstract: A presente dissertação tem como objetivo o estudo do processo de manufacture outsourcing de carregadores elétricos na Efacec Electric Mobility (EEM). Pretendia-se melhorar os processos atuais do manufacture outsourcing de unidades de carga lenta, que para além de serem prematuros, eram morosos e pouco definidos, o que estava a prejudicar a relação com os clientes e outros parceiros. Assim, foi conduzida uma análise dos processos vigentes de modo a otimizá-los e a colmatar as suas falhas, com o objetivo de aplicar as soluções apresentadas na proposta de melhoria à realidade da EEM. Para tal, os processos e subprocessos que compunham o manufacture outsourcing de carregadores de carga lenta foram meticulosamente analisados, através de observação direta, estudo de documentos e através da condução de entrevistas informais. De modo a compreender a necessidade de otimizar o processo, foi ainda conduzida uma análise SWOT. Posteriormente, foi possível identificar e estruturar as atividades que constituíam os processos de modo a torná-los mais claros e organizados. De seguida, foram desenhados os modelos dos processos tendo em consideração o Business Process Modeling and Notation. Estas mesmas atividades que compunham os modelos foram classificadas relativamente ao valor que acrescentavam ao workflow. Foram definidos KPIs para cada um dos processos e subprocessos, e ainda os bottlenecks que os afetavam. Isto permitiu o desenvolvimento de uma proposta de melhoria que incluía soluções distintas que poderiam implementadas tanto a curto como a médio e longo prazo, como a implementação de tecnologia e a aplicação do pensamento lean. No fim, foram apresentadas as limitações da dissertação assim como propostas para estudos futuros dentro desta mesma temática.
The present dissertation aimed to study the manufacture outsourcing process of electric chargers at Efacec Electric Mobility (EEM). The intention was to improve the current processes of manufacture outsourcing of slow charging units, that beyond being premature, were time-consuming and insufficiently defined, which was damaging the relationship with clients and other partners. Hence, an analysis of the current processes was conducted in order to optimize them and rectify its flaws, with the objective of applying the solutions of the improvement proposal to the reality of EEM. To attain this, the processes and subprocesses that composed the manufacture outsourcing of slow charging units were meticulously analysed, through direct observation, study of documents and informal interviews. In order to understand the necessity of optimizing the process, a SWOT analysis was also conducted. After, it was possible to identify and structure the activities that composed the processes in order to make them clear and organized. Following this, the models of the processes were drawn taking into consideration the Business Process Modeling and Notation. These same activities that composed the models were classified in terms of their contribution to the workflow. KPIs for each one of the processes and subprocesses were defined, as well as the main bottlenecks that affected them. This allowed the development of an improvement proposal that included distinct solutions that could be implemented in short or medium and long-term, such as the implementation of updated technology and the application of lean thinking. In the end, limitations of the dissertation were presented along with proposals for future studies regarding this same thematic.
