Gestão de Stocks numa empresa de produção de quadros elétricos

Abstract

O presente documento provém da realização do estágio na empresa Tecnocon, mais propriamente no departamento técnico-comercial. Esta empresa tem como principal atividade a automação industrial, focando-se também no projeto e produção de infraestruturas elétricas. Devido ao facto da empresa apresentar algumas falhas na gestão de stocks, ou seja, no controlo do stock e na definição das quantidades a encomendas, a proposta apresentada concentra-se em encontrar uma solução para resolver esses problemas. Após a recolha de dados, verificou-se que existia uma grande variedade de materiais, e por isso foi necessário perceber quais os itens com maior impacto financeiro para a empresa, onde se recorreu à análise ABC ou de Pareto. Percebeu-se que os bornes e os fios são os de maior influência para a empresa, na produção de quadros elétricos. Para entender o comportamento desses itens dentro da empresa, os seus movimentos e como são geridos, indicadores de desempenho, como a taxa de rotação, o nível médio de stock, a percentagem de produtos obsoletos e o nível de serviço foram analisados. O próximo passo foi desenvolver um modelo de gestão de stocks. O objetivo deste modelo é evitar quantidades de encomenda excessivas ou insuficientes enquanto se define a quantidade ótima de encomenda, a altura/tempo em que a encomenda deve ser feita e o nível máximo de inventário que a empresa deve ter dos itens que têm maior impacto financeiro na mesma. Algumas recomendações foram propostas com o objetivo de melhorar a gestão de stock da empresa, focadas no fios e nos bornes, tal como as propostas gerais. Por fim, foram estabelecidos níveis de stock de segurança para os materiais essenciais na produção de infraestruturas elétricas.

The present document results from an internship at Tecnocon, particularly at the technical-commercial department. The main activity of the company is industrial automation, also focusing on projecting and producing electrical infrastructures. Given the fact that the company has some failures regarding its stock management, namely the stock control and definition of order quantities, the present proposal will focus on finding a solution to solve these problems. After collecting data, it was found that there was a great variety of materials, therefore it was necessary to understand which items had the greatest financial impact in the company and for that the Pareto’s analysis was used. It was perceived that the electric switchboard terminals and the wires have the greatest financial influence in the company, in the production of electrical board. In order to understand the behavior of these items inside the company, their movement and how they are managed, performance indicators, such as the inventory turnover, average stock level, percentage of obsolete products and the service level were analyzed. The next step was to develop a stock management model. The objective of this model is to avoid excessive or insufficient ordering quantities while defining the optimal quantity to order, the time when the order should be placed and the maximum level of inventory that the company should have of the items that have a greatest financial impact in the company. Some recommendations were proposed in order to improve the company’s inventory management, both focused on the wires and electric switchboard terminals, as well as some general proposals. Lastly, safety stock levels for the materials essential in the production of electrical infrastructures were established.
