1) Modelação e análise deste tipo de estruturas com o apoio de um programa informático de modelação e análise de estruturas, o Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2016;
1) O estudo e modelação da própria torre eólica;
2) A modelação de uma ação dinâmica simples;
The construction of wind turbines, or eolic towers, suffered a big increase in the last few years, in consequence of the need for renewable energy sources. The tower, by itself, is a classic type of structure, but the specific actions and the existence of several types of solutions competing between themselves, bring new issues to their analysis and design. On the other side, the tools of analysis and modelling nowadays available to the designer, enable the improvement of their performance and characteristics, as well as the optimization of their cost and behaviour. In particular, prestressed concrete towers, being the most competitive solution for the turbines having higher power capacity, which are the highest towers, have been receiving a special attention. This work presents two main objectives: 1) The modelling and analysis of this kind of structures with the assistance of one software appropriate for this kind of task, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2016; 2) Analysis of the dynamic behaviour for this kind of structures, using the same software. More specifically, this thesis includes: 1) The modelling and analysis of the tower; 2) The modelling of a simple harmonic dynamic action; 3) Performing the dynamic analysis by direct integration of the movement equations and the analysis of the results. |
