Recursos Hídricos e Ambientes Aquáticos: prática, tradição e inovação. O Ecomuseu Patrimonial de Oliveira do Hospital.

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio, designado por “Recursos Hídricos e Ambientes Aquáticos: prática, tradição e inovação. O Ecomuseu Patrimonial de Oliveira do Hospital”, resulta de um trabalho desenvolvido durante os seis meses de estágio na Câmara Municipal de Oliveira do Hospital, no âmbito da unidade curricular "Estágio/Relatório", do 2º ano de Mestrado em Geografia Humana, Planeamento e Territórios Saudáveis da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra (FLUC). Com este trabalho, pretende-se elaborar um inventário do património cultural (material e imaterial), presente e associado a dois dos cursos de água que atravessam o concelho de Oliveira do Hospital: o rio Alva e o rio Alvoco, de modo a promover o Ecomuseu Patrimonial de Oliveira do Hospital(EPOH), permitindo, assim, a valorização dos rios Alva e Alvoco, bem como todas as práticas, tradições e inovações a eles associadas. Para isso, a metodologia utilizada passou pelo trabalho de campo, tendo estado em contacto com a população residente nas freguesias que estes dois cursos de água percorrem, a fim de conceber o levantamento do património cultural intangível (lendas, mitos, tradições e saber-fazer) e do património cultural tangível (pontes, açudes, moinhos, sistemas de irrigação, rodas de água), entre outros, associado aos rios Alva e Alvoco. Além disto, foi também elaborada e aplicada uma entrevista a 20 stakeholders do concelho de Oliveira do Hospital, a fim de analisar a perceção dos entrevistados quanto à importância e funções que estes atribuem aos recursos hídricos e aos ambientes aquáticos. Serviu a entrevista, também, para perceber qual o conhecimento ou desconhecimento dos entrevistados relativamente ao conceito de Ecomuseu e quais as suas posições relativamente à sua implementação no concelho de Oliveira do Hospital do EPOH.

The present internship report, called “Water Resources and Aquatic Environments: practice, tradition and innovation'. The Patrimonial Ecomuseum of Oliveira do Hospital”, results from a work developed during six months of internship at the City Council of Oliveira do Hospital, within the scope of the curricular unit "Internship/Report", from the 2nd year of the Master’s in Human Geography, Planning and Healthy Territories of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra (FLUC).With this work, it is intended to elaborate an inventory of the cultural heritage (material and immaterial), present and associated with two of the water courses that cross the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital: the river Alva and the river Alvoco, in order to promote the Ecomuseum Patrimonial de Oliveira do Hospital (EPOH), thus allowing the appreciation of the Alva and Alvoco rivers, as well as all the practices, traditions and innovations associated with them.For this, the methodology used went through field work, having been in contact with the population residing in the parishes that these two water courses run through, in order to design the survey of the intangible cultural heritage (legends, myths, traditions and know-how) and tangible cultural heritage (bridges, weirs, mills, irrigation systems, water wheels), among others, associated with the Alva and Alvoco rivers. In addition, an interview was also prepared and applied to 20 stakeholders in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, in order to analyze the interviewees'perception of the importance and functions they attribute to water resources and aquatic environments.The interview also served to understand the interviewees' knowledge or lack of knowledge regarding the Ecomuseum concept and their positions regarding its implementation in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital do EPOH.
