O brincar, os brinquedos e o bebé - estudo empírico no âmbito do desenvolvimento do bebé e a importância dos brinquedos no crescimento

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the toys indicated for babies from 0 (zero) to 36 months, checking if they really fulfill what they are committed to. A survey will be carried out of the importance of playing by making a connection with the toy, how the baby begins to be built in the parents' lives, and the effect it has after birth. Next, a theoretical analysis of all the baby's developmental stages will be presented and all the theories that are relevant to the investigation. In this bibliographic survey, it also includes a specific chapter on playing, the relationship that the baby establishes with the mother and how it is seen in the importance of toys. Then, a primary analysis of the toys is performed, based on the most basic and visible characteristics, with a explanation of each category, so that it is then possible to make a second analysis according to the main points of the literature review, more specifically, the sensory characteristics. Then, a statistical analysis is carried out, including descriptive analysis, referring to the frequency analysis. Finally, the results of the investigation are presented and a relationship is made between the important information to retain and the conclusions to which it brings us. In this way, it is possible to combine the characteristics of the toys with the baby's needs presented in theory, so that it is possible to define which toys are most suitable, which ones are the most distant and how to improve them. O presente estudo tem como objectivo analisar os brinquedos indicados para os bebés dos 0 (zero) aos 36 meses, verificando se estes realmente cumprem aquilo a que se comprometem. Será realizada um levantamento da importância do brincar fazendo uma ligação com o brinquedo, de que maneira o bebé começa a ser construído na vida dos pais, e o efeito que ele tem após o nascimento. De seguida, será apresentada uma análise teórica de todas as fases de desenvolvimento do bebé, com uma descrição detalhada, e todas as teorias que são relevantes para a investigação. Neste levantamento bibliográfico, inclui também um capítulo específico do brincar, a relação que o bebé estabelece com a mãe e como se revê na importância dos brinquedos. De seguida, realiza-se uma análise primária dos brinquedos, baseada nas características mais básicas e visíveis, com explicação integral de cada categoria, para que de seguida, seja possível fazer uma segunda análise de acordo com os pontos principais da revisão bibliográfica, mais concretamente, as características sensorais. Após esta análise, é realizada a análise estatística, incluindo a análise descritiva, referente à análise de frequências. Por último, é apresentado os resultados da investigação e feita uma relação entre a informação importante de se reter e as conclusões a que nos suscita. Desta forma, é possível conjugar as características dos brinquedos com as necessidades do bebé apresentadas na teoria, de modo a que seja possível definir quais os brinquedos se encontram mais aptos, quais os que mais se afastam e como os melhorar.
