This reports’ purpose is to present an analysis, description and observation of the pedagogic activities supervised during the school year of 2019/2020 at the Escola Secundária / 3º ciclo Dra. Maria Cândida, as well as presenting the didactic application of maps and thermopluviometric graphs as a resource in the learning of climate and vegetation formations. In terms of how the subjects are divided in this report, in the first part we are presented with the general characteristics of the school, the core of the internship, of the class and teaching/non-teaching activity repertoire performed during the school year; whilst the second part is composed of a ponderation and theoretical discussion associated with the topic, “Climate and Vegetation Formations”, where in this topic, an applied learning strategy is presented, with its structure, implementation methods and posteriorly, the evaluation of obtained results in classroom application as well as a reflection on itself. The main objective of this strategy focused on exploring the usage of thermopluviometric graphs and maps as a strategy in consolidating content on the subject of “Climate and Vegetation Formations”, basing off of elaborating a script with thermopluviometric data tables and images of vegetation formations. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this strategy was deployed online, adapted with the use of “zoom”. Despite this new reality, generally speaking, the proposed goals for this strategy were reached, seeing as the students constructed, without difficulty, the thermopluviometric graphs, associating them with the correct vegetation formation, despite some difficulty justifying their results. After applying the strategy in class, we can confirm that the completion of graphs and the analysis of maps and vegetation formations, are potential tools in the consolidation of climate diversity and vegetation formations.eng
