In the second half of the 20th century, the uncontrolled growth of modern cities has led to a serious problem of housing shortages and, consequently, an increase in informal settlements. To the present day, the spatialization of urban poverty has been increasing. With the aim of learning to intervene in environments of this nature, the present dissertation studies the theme of Incremental Housing developed by Elemental, a typology based on simple construction systems that allow the evolution of housing along with the evolution of its inhabitants. Thus, this project aims to study the dissolution of the dichotomy in which the architect was responsible for the process of drawing and building and the individual by the process of dwelling, originating a process that involves the individual in the construction of housing, the neighborhood and the city. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
