latina dies.
The etymology of the word “Domingo” (“Sunday” in Portuguese and Spanish) is derived from the Latin of the Christians, as it was also the case in other Romance languages, depending on the gender of the latin word dies. Therefore, this study tries to explain the different linguistic evolutions of this word in several Romance languages. |
