After a brief note about Homero, book of the Professor Carlier (1949-2011), an analysis of the anthroponomy revealed by epigraphic monuments of the Occidental Roman Lusitania shows clear reflexes of the Homeric world, almost in the circle of slaves or freemen. The ocurrence of the name Helene may be considered as case study.
