Estudo e desenvolvimento de uma plataforma de gestão de serviços SaaS para o sector do alojamento - subscrição e cancelamento de serviços

Abstract

Este estágio está inserido no projecto Hotelcracy Apps, que tem como objectivo o estudo e desenvolvimento de uma plataforma integradora de múltiplos serviços Software-as-a-Service utilizados no sector do alojamento. A plataforma permitirá ao utilizador a selecção de vários serviços que melhor se adequem ao seu negócio, podendo subcrever novos serviços, cancelar serviços subscritos e migrar de um serviço para outro. Os serviços subscritos ficarão imediatamente integrados com os restantes e serão utilizados através de uma interface homogénea. A principal contribuição deste estágio para o projecto Hotelcracy Apps é o desenvolvimento de componentes que permitam a subscrição e cancelamento de serviços na plataforma, constituindo assim uma prova de conceito dos processos que executam. Para tal, começou-se por identificar várias categorias de serviços Software-as-a-Service que são utilizados no sector do alojamento e seguidamente identificaram-se e analisaram-se serviços de cada categoria existentes no mercado. Das categorias identificadas, seleccionaram-se duas essenciais no sector e estudaram-se aprofundadamente os serviços existentes no mercado dessas categorias.O estudo realizado teve como resultados principais os processos detalhados de subscrição e cancelamento de serviços das duas categorias seleccionadas, bem como a definição dos processos genéricos de subscrição e cancelamento de serviços.Partindo dos processos definidos, estabeleceu-se um modelo de gestão de dados que suporta e viabiliza as interacções entre a plataforma Hotelcracy Apps e os serviços SaaS e desenhou-se a arquitectura estática e dinâmica da prova de conceito dos componentes de subscrição e cancelamento de serviços da plataforma.Terminada a concepção tecnológica da prova de conceito, implementaram-se os componentes que a constituem e definiram-se testes automáticos para a sua verificação e validação em ambiente laboratorial.

This internship is part of the Hotelcracy Apps project, which aims to study and develop an integrated platform for multiple Software-as-a-Service services used in the housing sector. The platform will allow the user to select several services that best suit their business, being able to subscribe new services, cancel subscribed services and migrate from one service to another. The subscribed services will be immediately integrated with the rest and will be used through a homogeneous interface.The main contribution of this internship for the project Hotelcracy Apps is the development of components that allow the subscription and cancellation of services in the platform, thus providing a proof of concept of the processes that execute. To this end, it started by identifying several categories of Software-as-a-Service services that are used in the housing sector and then identified and analyzed services of each category on the market. Of the categories identified, two essential ones were selected in the sector and the services existing in the market of these categories were studied in depth.The main results of the study were the detailed processes for subscription and cancellation of services of the two selected categories, as well as the definition of generic processes for subscription and cancellation of services.Based on the defined processes, a data management model was established that supports and enables the interactions between the Hotelcracy Apps platform and the SaaS services, and the static and dynamic proof-of-concept architecture of subscription and service cancellation components of the platform.After the technological design of the proof-of-concept was completed, the components that constituted it were implemented and automatic tests were defined for its verification and validation in a laboratory environment.
