Desejo de alforria: Um estudo do Tráfico de Seres Humanos Contemporâneo em Portugal.

Abstract

O Estudo de vítimas do Tráfico de Seres Humanos (TSH) é um tema que, mesmo discutido e inserido em plataformas regionais, nacionais e globais, não recebe o tratamento necessário, permanecendo, na prática, à margem de ações sociais preventivas e efetivas, que poderiam transformar a realidade do país. A presença e permanência desse fato enraíza-se na sociedade e transforma não somente a vida das vítimas, mas de todos em seu entorno. A exploração humana acaba por interferir em diversas conexões entre indivíduos, agravando o cenário social, e é por conta disso que o foco desse estudo é a discussão étnica urbana antropológica sob os processos migratórios de estrangeiros em Portugal, a partir da ótica dos peritos e profissionais combatentes ao TSH, que interagem diariamente com indivíduos apanhados por ilusões, falsas promessas, ou expectativa de melhoria de vida e acabam por ser inseridas na realidade da exploração humana. O Tráfico de Seres Humanos não é ausente ou paralelo à sociedade, por conta disso, explorar o campo dos estudos sobre o tema torna-se de grande relevância, principalmente por ser um agravante humano inserido no meio social e não à sua margem. Nesta investigação, as bases foram erguidas através da análise de pesquisas e trabalhos relacionados à área do TSH, na qual desenvolveu-se uma ampla discussão dos direitos humanos básicos, ancestralidade do TSH e os estereótipos migratórios em Portugal, como os conceitos-chave da bibliografia internacional sobre TSH, com as diferenciações técnicas e definições de exploração, as formas para conseguir a legalidade social perante o Estado português e como o tema é realmente discutido na política pública. A pesquisa pretende, acima de tudo, incentivar o diálogo e as possíveis práticas para conscientização, divulgação e melhoria do combate ao TSH, através de parcerias com entidades e organizações dispostas a compartilhar os mesmos preceitos, colocando em prática, o verdadeiro vínculo acadêmico-social para a promoção de mudanças na sociedade.

The Trafficking of Human Beings (THB) is a topic that, even if discussed and inserted in regional, national and global platforms, does not receive the needed attention. In practical terms, it still remains away from preventive and effective social actions, which could transform the reality of the country. The presence and permanence of this reality is rooted in society and transforms not only the lives of the victims, but of everyone surrounding them. The human exploration ends up interfering in several connections between individuals, aggravating the social setting, and it is because of this that the focus of this study is the ethnic anthropological discussion under the migratory processes of foreigners to Portugal, from the perspective of the experts and professionals who fight against the THB. These professionals interact daily with individuals trapped by illusions, false promises, or an expectation of improvement in life who end up being inserted into the reality of human exploitation. Trafficking of Human Beings is not absent or parallel to society, because of this, researching about the studies on the subject becomes of great relevance, mainly because it is a human aggravating factor inserted in the social environment and not at its margin. In this investigation, the bases were built up on the analysis of researches and works related to the area of THB, in which a broad discussion on the basic human rights, THB ancestrality and migratory stereotypes in Portugal was developed, such as the key concepts from bibliography International studies on THB, with the technical differences and definitions of exploitation, the ways to achieve social legality in the Portuguese State and how the issue is actually discussed in public policy. The aim of the research is to encourage dialogue and possible actions to raise awareness, disseminate and improve the fight against THB, through partnerships with entities and organizations willing to share the same precepts, putting into practice the true academic-social bond to promote change in society.
