A Inquisição em Portugal- Proposta de abordagem didática na disciplina de História

Abstract

O relatório de estágio insere-se no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de História no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Secundário. Este relatório inclui uma descrição e sintetização de forma criteriosa e objetiva da prática pedagógica supervisionada no papel de professor estagiário. Através da introspeção sobre o trabalho efetuado, são identificados e enumerados aspetos positivos e negativos, permitindo assim, tornar as minhas futuras prestações mais eficazes e proveitosas. A segunda parte deste relatório incidirá no desenvolvimento de uma temática histórica, a partir de uma síntese bibliográfica. O tema escolhido foi a “Inquisição em Portugal”, temática abordada no oitavo ano do Ensino Básico. A Inquisição marcou de forma vincada a História de Portugal e seu Império durante 285 anos (1536-1821). Este trabalho pretende perceber a sua história, a vida institucional e judiciária, pautada por diversos períodos. Este trabalho tem por último fim, a aplicação didática da temática abordada no aprofundamento científico, tendo por base a caracterização geral da Escola EB 2, 3 Inês de Castro e da turma que me foi designada no estágio. A aplicação didática é colocada em prática em duas das aulas lecionadas, tendo por base uma fundamentação sobre a importância da utilização de fontes históricas, manuscritas ou impressas, textos historiográficos e imagens no ensino, recursos que sustentarão as estratégias do processo ensino/aprendizagem deste conteúdo. Nesta perspetiva a preparação e lecionação dos conteúdos programáticos foram concebidos com base na criatividade, motivação, na aprendizagem pela descoberta e na construção do conhecimento por contra própria, correspondendo às exigências para a formação de cidadãos participativos, críticos e reflexivos.

This internship report is under the scope of the Master's Degree in Teaching History in middle grades and high school. In this report is included a full and thorough description of the pedagogical practice supervised by a trainee teacher. Through the introspection of the work carried out it was possible to identify both positive and negative aspects. These aspects will allow future performances to become more effective and rewarding. The second part of this report will deal with the development of a historical theme that was done having as a foundation a bibliographic overview. The chosen theme was The Inquisition in Portugal, broached among 8th grade basic education students. The inquisition in Portugal left a great mark in its empire and history for 285 years (1536-1821). Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to understand the court, its history, its institutional and judicial life, throughout various time periods. The focus of this report is the teaching method used in this thematic having as a background the class concerned from the school EB 2, 3 Inês de Castro. The teaching method was set into practice in two of the lessons given where the usage of printed and manuscript historical sources, historiographical texts and images were the important resources that will sustain the teaching and learning process. In this perspective, the structural organization and teaching of the programmatic content was done considering creativity, motivation and means of autonomous learning with the intention of creating citizens who are active, discerning and thoughtful.
