Mobilidade na Habitação: Estudo da arquitetura móvel como habitação mínima e funcional.

Abstract

Esta presente dissertação tem como objetivo estudar e compreender a mobilidade na arquitetura de habitação do passado e do presente, compreendendo a minimalidade, funcionalidade, adaptabilidade, flexibilidade, utilidade e variedade ligada a esta mobilidade.A mobilidade na arquitetura é útil e pertinente que consegue, através de habitações móveis sem fundações e/ou limites, proporcionar um conceito habitacional que escape ao tradicional, um conceito onde a mobilidade é chave. Dentro da mobilidade existem ainda vários conceitos que possibilitam esta arquitetura ser única e apetecível, desde a minimalidade que, por si, é essencial para habitações móveis pois o espaço é limitado na maioria dos casos, à adaptabilidade e variedade inerente que permitem maior uso e longevidade. São classificadas, então, as habitações móveis em duas categorias as (a)movíveis, habitações com mobilidade incorporada, e as (des)montáveis, habitações sem mobilidade ‘instantânea’. Dentro destas categorias pretende-se estudar e contextualizar a sua evolução, desde o passado ao presente, tentando-se perceber a importância de cada um no dia-a-dia da sociedade. Procura-se, também, um entendimento sobre os princípios de organização do habitar nos dias de hoje, tentando encontrar e perceber a sua validade. Resumindo, a dissertação Mobilidade na Habitação: Estudo da arquitetura móvel como habitação mínima e funcional é um estudo sobre as habitações móveis, onde as possibilidades que são oferecidas ínfimas e únicas, onde os limites não existem.

Mobility in Housing is a thesis that aims to understand the mobility inserted in housing architecture, both in the past and the present. Its main objective is to study and comprehend the minimalism, utility, functionality, adaptability and flexibility inherent in these types of dwellings, focusing on the importance of this type of architecture.When analyzing the big picture, it is obvious that mobility can be seen as a useful and relevant thought, where through houses that have no foundations and/or limits, it is possible to provide a different type of housing concept, one of which movement is key. Within this portability there are various concepts that provide viability and desirable qualities to the architecture, from minimalism, which is essential for portable dwellings since these normally have limited space, to the adaptability and variety that allow these houses more longevity and use.We classify portables houses in two categories, the ‘mobile’, where the mobility is incorporated and the ‘(de)mountable’, dwelling which do not have ‘instant’ mobility. There is an intention of studying and contextualizing the evolution in these two categories, from the past to the present, ultimately understanding there importance in today’s society as well as comprehending there organizational principles.All in all, Mobility in Housing: Study of portable architecture as a minimal and functional dwelling, aims to study portable housing, where the possibilities are endless, unique and limitless.
