In this way, we had as a fundamental matrix the set of events leading up to the goal (Gama et al., 2014; Vaz et al., 2014) the intention was to check what were the key-players who had more influence on the team orchestration and on the ball movement. Methodology: The sample consisted of the observation and analysis of two games of a professional Soccer team, senior level, referring to the First Portuguese League season 2010/2011. Through the game analysis software - Amisco®, the networks were used as an instrument that allowed to measure, objectively, the key players of the team. Thus, it was possible to infer, with empirical data, who were the most influential players in the structure of collective dynamic (Gama et al., 2014; Vaz et al., 2014). On this database, we conducted the notational analysis of game action, considering the number of passes, ball receptions, shots, crosses, ball recoveries and collective actions successfully carried out. In that sense, the qualitative analysis was measured through the interaction of the players based on the nodes and vertices that resulted of the networks. Results: It can be seen that the player 4 (central defense) was the key player and the most influential player in the game 1. In the game 2, the player 6 (defense midfield) was considered the key-player, and the player 30 (advanced), the most influent. These two players held their main actions in the following areas of the playing field: 2CD, 3CD, 3CE, 4CD, 5CD and 5CE. The highest probabilities of interaction in the game 1 emerged between the player 4 (central defense) and the player 14 (right defense), with 47%. In the game 2, it appears that the greatest probabilities of interaction were among the player 12 (goalkeeper) and player 33 (reserve), with 75%. The analysis of the centroid shows, for the first game, that the player 6, was the one that presented the best global rating in relation to the number of interactions performed (G_6 = 0.5954). Finally, in the game 2, the results indicate that the player 10 (attacking midfielder) showed the higher position in the ranking in relation to the number of interactions made (g_10 = 0.6057). Discussion and Conclusion: Our results are in aligned with Peña and Touchette (2013), Vaz et al. (2014) and Gama et al. (2014), where there was also a high level of connectivity between players. In this sense, the data support the existence of a high interaction and connection between game players in the offense phase (Yokoyama & Yamamoto, 2011; Sargent, 2013). That said, similar to the study of Gama et al. (2014), it is concluded that the key player is a fundamental piece in the team orchestration, because it balances its collective behavior and contributes to unbalance the action of the opponent. This issue deserves greater scientific deepening, especially through a more robust sample, particularly at the youth level, to explore, through the possession and ball movement, the level of connection (network) and athletic performance of young athletes in offensive phase of the game.
