dc.description.abstract | Apesar do contínuo desenvolvimento e utilização de meios de comunicação online, tais como websites, weblogs e redes sociais, as revistas de moda continuam a representar um dos principais meios de comunicação do mundo da moda. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a forma como a mulher e o seu papel na sociedade foram sendo representados ao longo dos anos nas revistas de moda e nos media, em geral. Discutir-se-ão as origens das revistas femininas e de revistas de moda e os modos como as imagens transmitidas por estes meios de comunicação influenciam a perceção das identidades de género. A relação entre media e género situa-se numa delicada relação de influência mútua. Trata-se de uma relação delicada, porque as representações de género podem alterar decisivamente a forma de perceber e construir as identidades de género. dc.description.abstract | Despite the continued development and use of online media, such as websites, weblogs and social network, fashion magazines remain a major mean of communication in the fashion world. The objective of this study is to analyze how women and their role in society were being shown over the years in fashion magazines and media, in general. Discuss will be the origins of women's magazines and fashion magazines and the ways in which images transmitted by these media influence the perception of s gender identities. The relationship between media and gender lies in a delicate relationship of mutual influence. It is a delicate relationship because gender representations can decisively change the way we perceive and construct gender identities. Hence the importance of reflecting on it. | por |
