O Contributo da Mitologia na Compreensão Textual: Aplicações Didáticas

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio Supervisionado patenteia um estudo sobre o contributo da Mitologia na interpretação do texto literário em duas turmas - uma de Português (9º ano) e outra de Latim (10º ano). O panorama social e escolar destas turmas permitiu traçar o perfil de cada uma, e consequentemente selecionar a metodologia adequada para o desenvolvimento deste projeto. A leitura e a escrita enquanto instrumentos para a concretização deste trabalho possibilitaram um estudo sobre as suas caraterísticas e proficiências ao nível do ensino. De modo a implementar esta investigação, executou-se um conjunto de atividades tendo como ponto de partida a análise de textos literários e consagrando particular atenção à explicação de referências mitológicas e à reflexão acerca do caráter axiológico inerente às personagens da mitologia. Assim, além de pretender dar resposta ao objetivo proposto, proporcionei aos alunos a oportunidade de contactar com as múltiplas potencialidades dos temas clássicos. Os dados recolhidos permitiram concluir a significativa importância da Mitologia no plano do estudo dos textos propostos, bem como a sua relevância para a formação cultural dos discentes.

This internship report presents a study on the contribution of Mythology in the interpretation of literary text into two classes – one of Portuguese (9th grade) and one of Latin (10th grade). The social and educational overview of these classes allowed me to outline the profile of each one, and consequently select the appropriate methodology for the development of this project. The reading and writing as tools to implement this work enabled a study of their characteristics and proficiencies to the school level. In order to implement this research, performed a set of activities taking as its starting point the analysis of literary texts and devoting particular attention to the explanation of mythological references and reflection on the axiological character inherent to the characters of mythology. So in addition to want to respond to the proposed objective, proporcionei students the opportunity to contact with the multiple capabilities of classic themes. The data collected allowed to conclude the significant importance of mythology in the study plan of the proposed texts, as well as its relevance to the cultural background of students.
