A evolução morfológica e funcional dos Coutos do Mosteiro de Alcobaça – Uma experiência de Ensino

Abstract

O presente relatório insere-se no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de História e Geografia no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário. Divide-se em três grandes capítulos sendo o primeiro dedicado ao trabalho desenvolvido durante a Prática Letiva Supervisionada no Colégio São Teotónio em Coimbra, nomeadamente a caracterização da escola onde decorreu o estágio, das turmas onde se desenvolveram as atividades pedagógicas e a descrição da metodologia de trabalho aplicada. O segundo capítulo concentra-se sobretudo no estudo de duas temáticas bastante complexas da História e da Geografia da Estremadura portuguesa: o assoreamento da Lagoa da Pederneira e a influência do trabalho dos monges da Ordem de Cister neste processo. Por um lado temos o assoreamento natural que ocorreu numa complexa estrutura geológica e litológica: o Diapiro das Caldas da Rainha, cuja erosão do núcleo desta estrutura, durante o Quaternário, deu origem a um fundo baixo e plano que viria posteriormente a constituir, com a subida do nível das águas do mar no último máximo transgressivo, lagoas como a da Pederneira. A par das condições naturais, a atividade humana ao longo dos séculos, principalmente o desbravamento de terras numa busca constante pelos locais que melhor reuniam condições para exploração agrícola e pecuária, condicionou, também, largamente o assoreamento da mesma. O terceiro capítulo está dedicado a uma aplicação didática, através de uma visita de estudo, que pretende transmitir aos alunos do 7º ano do Ensino Básico, os assuntos abordados anteriormente e que se encontram relacionados com as metas Curriculares das disciplinas de História e de Geografia

The present report is part of the Master's Degree Program in the Teaching of History and Geography in the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education. It is divided into three main chapters being the first dedicated to the work carried out during the academic year which was Supervised in the Colégio São Teotónio in Coimbra, in particular the characterization of the school where the internship took place, in class the developed of the pedagogical activities and a description of the applied methodology of work. The second chapter focuses primarily on the study of two very complex issues of the History and Geography of the Portuguese Extremadura: the silting up of the Pederneira lagoon and the influence of the work of Cistercian monks in this process. On the one hand we have the natural silting that occurred in a complex geological and lithological structure: the Diapir of Caldas da Rainha, which eroded the core of this structure, during the Quaternary, which results in a low and flat ground, that, with the rising level of the sea in the Last Maximum Transgressive, lagoons like Pederneira. In addition to the natural conditions, human activity over the centuries, especially land clearing, in a constant search for sites that best met conditions for farm and livestock, conditioned also largely the silting up of them. The third chapter is dedicated to a didactic application, through a study visit, wants to impart to the students from 7th year of basic education, the matters previously discussed and which are related to the curricular objectives of the academic disciplines of History and Geography.
