dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal comparar a comunicação entre pais e filhos em duas específicas etapas do ciclo vital - famílias com filhos na escola vs famílias com filhos adolescentes – entre uma amostra do Sul (Benguela) e uma amostra do Norte (Cabinda) de Angola. Pretende-se ainda avaliar a relação existente entre a comunicação entre pais e filhos e as forças familiares. A amostra da presente pesquisa é constituída por 180 pais/mães de filhos com idades entre os 7 e os 16 anos. O protocolo inclui a Escala de Avaliação da comunicação parentofilial (Compa, versão pais) (Portugal & Alberto, 2013) e o Questionário de forças familiares (QFF) (Melo & Alarcão, 2007), para além de um questionário de dados sóciodemográficos. Relativamente à comunicação, registaram-se diferenças estatisticamente significativas, verificando-se melhor comunicação entre pais e filhos na região Norte de Angola (Cabinda) em ambas as etapas do ciclo vital. Há uma relação positiva e moderada a elevada entre a comunicação entre pais e filhos e as forças familiares. dc.description.abstract | The present study aims to compare the communication between parents and children in two specific stages of the life cycle - families with children in school vs. families with teenage children) in a sample from South (Benguela) and North (Cabinda) of Angola. It also aims to evaluate the relationship among the communication between parents and children and family strengths. The sample of this research consists of 180 fathers/ mothers of children aged between 7 and 16 years. The protocol includes the Escala de Avaliação da comunicação parento-filial (Compa, versão pais) (Portugal & Albert, 2013), the Questionário de forças familiares (QFF) (Alarcão & Melo, 2007) and a sociodemographic questionaria. Regarding the communication between parents and children, there were statistically significant differences with better communication in Northern Angola (Cabinda) region sample in both stages of the life cycle. There is a positive and moderate to high relationship among the communication between parent and child and family strengths relationship. There was no effect of sex, age and level of education the results of COMPA. | por |
