Abstract: Eslicarbazepine acetate is a novel voltage-gated sodium channel blocker in development for the treatment of epilepsy, bipolar disorder and neuropathic pain. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of age and gender on the pharmacokinetics of eslicarbazepine acetate.
