Participants responded to four instruments, with the demographic questionnaire, and Demand Responsiveness Scale (Teixeira & Gomes 2004), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale adapted by Hutz (2000), and the Scale of Aggression and Peer Victimization (Cunha & Weber, 2007). No significant correlations between parenting styles and self-esteem reported by adolescents were found. The size requirement of the mother has a negative correlation with both relational aggression and maternal requirement regarding parental responsiveness are negatively correlated with attacks on property. The research shows significant correlations between self-esteem with direct aggression. When analyzing the results, we conclude that the sample points to a group which can be classified as a victim-aggressor because their means (direct aggression and victimization 11.46 16.54).
