Title: | Emoções na vida grupal: porque os grupos também sentem | Authors: | Pinto, Elsa Cristina Fernandes | Orientador: | Lourenço, Paulo Renato | Keywords: | Grupos; Convergência emocional; Emoções | Issue Date: | 2009 | Serial title, monograph or event: | Emoções na vida grupal: porque os grupos também sentem | Place of publication or event: | Coimbra | Abstract: | Os grupos/equipas de trabalho são, hoje, realidades indissociáveis do
mundo organizacional. Torna-se, por isso, importante conhecer o seu
funcionamento e compreender as suas dinâmicas. O presente trabalho, partindo
A amostra
Today, the groups / working teams are inseparable realities of the organizational world. Therefore, it is important to understand its operation and its dynamics. The present work, basing on an evolutionary perspective of the groups, had as main purpose to analyze in what extent the different stages of group development proposed by the Integrated Model of Group Development of Miguez and Lourenço (2001) differ with regard to the emotions expressed, faked, and suppressed. In the sequence of this purpose, we lead an empirical study, with a non-experimental design, on team level, supported by the use of two questionnaires (PJAWSN and the PDE). The sample was consisted by 71 work teams, from different types of organizations. In general, the results suggest that the manifestation of positive and negative emotions changes during the evolution path of the group and that they tend to suppress those emotions at the beginning of their development. Concerning to the forgery emotions and emotional convergence in the statistics level, there were no significant differences. |
