Starting with the analysis of the hallucination and delusional phenomenon, as well as other associated phenomena, the present research aims to translate and provide some psychometric data, such as the internal consistency and the factor structure, about Morrison, Wells and Nothard’s (2002) Revised Hallucination Scale (RHS) and Interpretations of Voices Inventory (IVI). We also investigated the relationship between these scales, as well as the relationship between both and the Boundary Questionnaire (Duarte, 2007; Rawlings, 2002), a scale that was answered by the same subjects as our scales were. The results showed that the factor structure of both scales are similar to those of Morrison, Wells and Nothard’s (2002). The Revised Hallucination Scale consists of 3 factors: “Tendency towards experiencing auditory hallucinations”; “Tendency towards experiencing visual disturbances and hallucinations”; “Vividness of imagination and daydreaming” that account for 44.05% of the total variance. The Interpretations of Voices Inventory also consists of 3 factors: “Metaphysical beliefs about voices”; “Positive beliefs about voices”; “Interpretations of loss of control”, that account for 62.33% of the total variance. The internal consistency of the RHS presents an alpha of 0.804. For the factor “Tendency towards experiencing auditory hallucinations”, the value of the alpha was 0.783. For the factor “Tendency towards experiencing visual disturbances and hallucinations”, the value of the alpha was 0.642. For the factor “Vividness of imagination and daydreaming, the value of the alpha was 0.599. As far as IVI is concerned, the internal consistency presents an alpha of 0.933. For the factor “Meta-physical beliefs about voices”, the value of the alpha was 0.951. For the factor “Positive beliefs about voices”, the value of the alpha was 0.917. For the factor “Interpretations of loss of control”, the value was 0.843. Both questionnaires proved to have good construct, predictive and concurrent validities.
