Protecção Ambiental e Práticas Quotidianas Individuais e Colectivas

Abstract

Nesta comunicação, referindo os programas 3E ́s (resíduos sólidos urbanos), apresentam-se as características gerais dos programas SAFra (saúde/ambiente/fitofarmacêuticos – resíduos agrícolas) e ERA (energias renováveis e ambiente), que visam estimular práticas quotidianas, individuais e colectivas, de protecção ambiental. Estes programas de intervenção social diversificada consubstanciam-se em acções protagonizadas por um grupo de estudantes, designado EQOFAR (Estudantes de Química Orgânica de Farmácia: Acção/Reacção), interrelacionam-se com a disciplina de Química Orgânica da licenciatura em Ciências Farmacêuticas, da Universidade de Coimbra. As metodologias adoptadas para fomentar o desenvolvimento de competências científicas dos estudantes EQOFAR, as intervenções comunitárias dos programas desenvolvidos pelo grupo e a introdução deste tipo de práticas de ensino e de aprendizagem, em que se aliam contextos formais e não-formais, pretende- se contribuir para impulsionar a construção activa de conhecimento, que permita aprofundar e ampliar competências, incentivando-os a explorar outras vias de desenvolvimento pessoal e social, bem como de desenvolvimento e enquadramento profissional futuro.

In this paper, referring to the 3E programmes (solid urban waste), we present the general characteristics of HEPar (Health/ Environment/ Phyto pharmaceuticals-agricultural waste) and REE (renewable energy and environment) programmes which attempt to stimulate individual and collective day-to-day practices of environmental protection. These programmes of diversified social intervention are consubstantiated in actions protagonised by a group of students, designated as SOCPAR (Students of Organic Chemistry in Pharmacy: Action/ Reaction) and are inter-related with the subject of Organic Chemistry in the degree course in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Coimbra. The methodologies which have been adopted in order to encourage the development of scientific competences in the SOCPAR sudents, the community interventions within the programmes developed by the group and the introduction of this type of teaching and learning practice, in which formal and non-formal contexts are allied, aims at contributing towards the boosting of the active construction of knowledge, allowing for a widenig and amplifification of competences, giving the incentives necessary to explore other ways of development and of future professional frameworks.
