Relatório de Estágio de Mestrado em Ensino de Física e de Química no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário

Abstract

This internship report, which forms part of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physics and Chemistry in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, has been prepared by Intern Student Cristiana Martins with the aim of describing all the activities carried out during the pedagogical internship and presenting a critical appraisal of them.The initiation of professionalization through an internship is a fundamental stage in the training of future teachers, since there is the opportunity to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge acquired during the Master's degree, which provides the development of pedagogical skills through classroom experience. The internship was conducted at the Avelar Brotero Secondary School in Coimbra during the 2023/2024 academic year. The pedagogical internship was overseen by Professor Catarina Santos, with the scientific guidance of Professor Pedro Costa in the Physics component and Professor Dina Murtinho in the Chemistry component. The teaching activity was conducted in two 11th-grade classes, 11th 1F and 11th 1G, which were part of the Scientific-Humanistic Science and Technology course.This report includes an introduction, six chapters, bibliographical references, and annexes. The six chapters are as follows: General Framework, Physics Component, Chemistry Component, Research Projects, Non-Teaching Component, and Conclusion. The General Framework presents a description of the educational institution where the teaching internship was conducted, a description of the academic disciplines in which the student engaged in teaching practice, and a summary of the essential learnings. The Physics and Chemistry components present the themes explored in these disciplines and the respective documents. The Research Projects chapter summarizes the main conclusions of the research projects carried out. The Non-Teaching Component describes all the non-teaching activities carried out during the academic year. Finally, in the conclusion, a reflection is made on all the work carried out.

O presente Relatório de Estágio, elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Física e Química no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, pretende descrever todas as atividades desenvolvidas durante o Estágio Pedagógico, bem como apresentar a apreciação crítica das mesmas, pela Aluna Estagiária Cristiana Martins. A iniciação da profissionalização através do Estágio constitui uma fase fundamental na formação de futuros professores, dado que, existe a oportunidade de aplicar na prática os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos durante a formação no Mestrado, o que proporciona o desenvolvimento de competências pedagógicas através da experiência em sala de aula.Assim, o Estágio foi realizado na Escola Secundária de Avelar Brotero, em Coimbra, no ano letivo 2023/2024. O Estágio Pedagógico decorreu sob a Orientação Pedagógica da Professora Catarina Santos, tendo, ainda, a Orientação Científica do Professor Doutor Pedro Costa, na componente de Física, e da Professora Doutora Dina Murtinho, na componente de Química. A atividade docente realizou-se em duas turmas do 11.º ano de escolaridade, 11.º 1F e 11.º 1G do curso Científico-Humanístico de Ciências e Tecnologias.O presente Relatório integra uma introdução, seis capítulos, referências bibliográficas e anexos. Os seis capítulos constam do seguinte: Enquadramento Geral, Componente de Física, Componente de Química, Projetos de Investigação, Componente Não Letiva e Conclusão. No Enquadramento Geral apresenta-se uma caracterização da Escola onde decorre o Estágio Pedagógico, a caracterização das turmas onde a Aluna Estagiária exerceu a prática docente e ainda as Aprendizagens Essenciais. Nas Componentes de Física e Química são apresentadas as temáticas exploradas nestas componentes e os respetivos documentos. No capítulo dos Projetos de Investigação é feito um resumo das principais conclusões dos Projetos desenvolvidos. Já na Componente Não Letiva são descritas todas as atividades não letivas elaboradas ao longo do ano letivo. Por fim, na Conclusão, procede se uma reflexão sobre todo o trabalho desenvolvido.
