Abstract

Este trabalho é, como diz o título, sobre nonsense e sobre palavras.Existe o senso comum, o bom senso, e ao invés do mau, existe o não senso.O nonsense é o absurdo, desmonta a lógica através do sistema linguístico, revela ou esconde novos sentidos ou sentidos múltiplos. E faz isso através das palavras.Como dizia Henri Bergson nos seu livro Laughter: “in every wit there is something of a poet”.A poesia faz-se também de palavras. Do sentido, da lógica que existe no uso das palavras. Da expressão do que pode ser simples até onde o poder da imaginação livre nos pode levar. Como se fosse um jogo, não para todos, mas para aqueles que se permitem.Juntar poesia e o nonsense, porque não?Juntar poesia e nonsense tem tudo para conduzir a novos formas de olhar o mundo ou a novas maneiras de estar nele. A poesia, uma das formas de expressar a linguagem, usa (também) as palavras. As palavras que, aliadas a um não-sentido ou a um sentido não, podem funcionar como armas que desafiam os modelos de representação habituais. Deste modo corre-se o risco de diminuir a capacidade de comunicação com os outros. Mas é também na poesia que a palavra pode entrar num jogo entre significante e significado , causando uma desordem na função da linguagem, e tornando algumas coisas inexplicáveis ou transcendentes, ou com múltiplos significados.Eu não conhecia a poesia.Depois percebi que, como diz Huizinga, “ para compreender a poesia precisamos ser capazes de envergar a alma da criança como se fosse uma capa mágica, e admitir a superioridade da sabedoria infantil sobre a do adulto”.Lewis Carroll e Edward Lear, os mestres do nonsense, talvez tenham percebido e por isso a sua obra, apesar de conotada com um universo infantil, vai muito para além dele.Muitos foram os que estudaram e escreveram sobre o tema.E o nonsense, apesar de poder significar sem sentido, pode passar a fazer todo o sentido.
