O ENSINO EXPLÍCITO DA PREFIXAÇÃO EM LATIM E EM PORTUGUÊS: UMA ABORDAGEM SEMÂNTICA

Abstract

This report reflects the work carried out during the Supervised Pedagogical Practice within the scope of the Master's Degree in Teaching Portuguese in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education and Latin in Secondary Education in the 2021/2022 academic year, namely a scientific-didactic case study on the explicit teaching of prefixation in Latin and Portuguese. The report is divided into two parts: in the first, we present the socio-educational context in which the internship took place, characterizing the school, the Portuguese and Latin classes and the internship group, as well as describing and critically reflecting on the Supervised Pedagogical Practice, referring to the activities promoted throughout the school year and the activities in which the trainee teacher participated; in the second, the theoretical framework of the theme to be developed is presented and the case study developed in the two classes with which we worked will be presented. In the development of the research topic, we clarified some notions related to the lexicon, addressing lexical awareness and the importance of a diverse vocabulary in secondary school students, but also about the explicit teaching of the lexicon. We also covered the processes of word formation, namely derivation, and clarified the position of prefixes between derivation and compounding. We also presented some considerations about prefixes in Latin and Portuguese, which were also explained along with their semantic value.The teaching carried out during the internship considered all the research and, in view of the results obtained, it is considered that the explicit teaching of prefixation and its semantic values can help develop students' lexical awareness.

O presente relatório reflete o trabalho realizado ao longo da Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Português no 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e do Ensino Secundário e de Latim no Ensino Secundário no ano letivo 2021/2022, nomeadamente um estudo de caso científico-didático sobre o ensino explícito da prefixação em Latim e em Português. O Relatório encontra-se dividido em duas partes: na primeira, apresentamos o contexto socioeducativo em que decorreu o estágio, caracterizando a escola, as turmas de Português e de Latim e o grupo de estágio, assim como descrevemos e refletimos criticamente sobre a Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada, referindo as atividades dinamizadas ao longo do ano letivo e as atividades nas quais o professor estagiário participou; na segunda é apresentado o enquadramento teórico do tema a desenvolver e será apresentado o estudo de caso desenvolvido nas duas turmas com as quais se trabalhouNo desenvolvimento do tema de investigação, foram esclarecidas algumas noções relacionadas com o léxico, abordando a consciência lexical e a importância de um vocabulário diversificado em alunos do ensino secundário, mas, também, sobre o ensino explícito do léxico. Abordámos também os processos de formação de palavras, nomeadamente a derivação e clarificámos a posição dos prefixos, entre a derivação e a composição. Foram ainda apresentadas algumas considerações sobre os prefixos em Latim e em Português, que também foram explicitados em conjunto com o seu valor semânticos. As didatizações realizadas no estágio tiveram em consideração toda a pesquisa feita e, tendo em conta os resultados obtidos, considera-se que o ensino explícito da prefixação e dos seus valores semânticos pode ajudar no desenvolvimento da consciência lexical dos alunos.
