Relatórios de Estágio e Monografia intitulada “Farmácia, Medicamento e Novas Tecnologias – Questões Éticas e Sociais”

Abstract

After 5 years of curricular units, the Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF) of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra (FFUC) concludes with the unit "Curricular Internship." This requires completion of the required internship in community pharmacy and, optionally, a second internship in the area of Regulatory Affairs at INFARMED, I.P., henceforth referred to as Infarmed. Students are also required to complete a monograph. This document is divided into 3 parts: (1) Internship Report in Community Pharmacy; (2) Infarmed Internship Report and (3) Monograph entitled "Pharmacy, Medicines and New Technologies - Ethical and Social Issues".(1) The internship report in Community Pharmacy, which was conducted from January to April under the supervision of Dr. Vera Horta, consists of the Pharmacy presentation, a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) of the internship, and some concluding remarks.(2) Following the Infarmed report, an internship conducted from May to July under the supervision of Dr. Dina Lopes follows the same format as (1), beginning with a presentation about the institution and the direction in which I was placed, followed by a SWOT analysis of the internship, and concluding with concluding remarks.(3) The monograph concludes by contextualizing ethics and morals, , particularly in relation to health. Then, a brief introduction to the pharmacy and the medicine itself, the pharmacy's historical significance, and a look into the future. Lastly, I plan to examine the reality of medicine and new technologies, focusing on the moral and ethical dilemmas that these developments add to the field of science and pharmacy in particular.

O Mestrado Integrado em Ciências Farmacêuticas (MICF) da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Coimbra (FFUC) chega ao fim, depois de 5 anos de unidades curriculares, com a unidade "Estágio Curricular". Esta pressupõe a realização do estágio curricular em farmácia comunitária e, por opção a realização de um segundo estágio na área de Assuntos Regulamentares ,no INFARMED, I.P., doravante designado por Infarmed. Além disto, é requerido aos alunos a realização de uma monografia. O presente documento é dividido assim em 3 partes: (1) Relatório de Estágio em Farmácia Comunitária; (2) Relatório de Estágio no Infarmed e (3) Monografia intitulada "Farmácia, Medicamento e Novas Tecnologias - Questões éticas e Sociais". (1) O relatório de estágio em Farmácia Comunitária, estágio realizado sob a orientação da Dra. Vera Horta de janeiro a abril, é constituído pela apresentação da Farmácia, análise SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) do decorrer do estágio e por último algumas considerações finais.(2) Depois o relatório do Infarmed, estágio realizado sob a orientação da Dra. Dina Lopes de maio a julho, segue o mesmo formato do (1), primeiramente uma apresentação sob a instituição e a direção onde fui inserida, depois análise SWOT do decorrer do estágio e por fim teci algumas considerações finais. (3) Por fim é apresentada a monografia fazer uma contextualização da ética e da moral, sobretudo, no plano da saúde. Depois faz um breve historial da farmácia e do medicamento mostrando-se o valor histórico da profissão farmacêutica, projetando-se o futuro. Por fim, pretende analisar a atualidade do medicamento e das novas tecnologias, estudando os dilemas morais e éticos que estes acrescentaram ao campo das ciências e, em particular, da farmácia
